Thats about a 56 hr drive give or take...longest ive done is straight to key west. I was pretty bagged to say the least....usually takes a day to recover now...back then it was a good 4 hr power nap a ready to rock.
Halifax to Orillia was my longest non-stop - 23 1/2 hours IIRC. I was a lot younger then and even still I was pretty much buggered for the entire next day.

Any idea what her experience level was at? I would assume, being from that area that this wasn't her first snowmobile or ride, but I am curious just the same.
No idea. Like you I would assume that she knew how to ride. However it's easy enough to run up on shore way too fast at night. I have done it myself and were it not for me very quickly picking a good line it could've easily ended badly.

What a shame. Very pretty girl and way too young. http://www.reynoldsfuneral.com/book-of-memories/3402915/courtnage-katie/obituary.php
One of my co-workers knew her. Apparently she had just picked up a used 800 XP a week or so prior.

Nah, if that were true you would live in TO.
Well that may be somewhat true of the skis, but anyone that has had an actual need for snow shoes would probably beg to differ.

Pretty sure I saw one of those listed on Kijiji.

Don't need snow if you don't have anything to enjoy it with.
Who says that I don't have anything to enjoy it with? For all you know I could own cross-country skis - or snow shoes.

The long range after the 29th looks good if it happens for our area
We need snow in the worst way. I was on B Trail yesterday and it is real bad. Like mid-to-late-March bad.

No idea about Sturgeon, but I am kinda surprised that there has been so little in the news about the girl killed on Six Mile last weekend. Sounds like she was overdriving her headlight and hit shore, but that is just speculation on my part.

Everything was booked when we were looking. Lucky to get 2 rooms at last minute. Not much open in way of trails in the south and they all headed up here. The guys next to us are from Niagara and others are from Picton area.
Not surprising. Considering our forecast is showing rain today, tomorrow, Tuesday and next Saturday I don't imagine the hotel room situation in Cochrane will get any better either.

I'm guessing you have a travel trailer lol
I assume you're saying that there isn't a room to be had in Cochrane?

You're on the right track.

Noooo. Those are a very cool rig, but this is at the opposite end of the spectrum in almost every way.

I suppose you want your beer steins back now?
lol. No Irv, you earned those for your unwavering loyalty to the brand.

So I was perusing Kijiji this past Wednesday evening, mostly looking at motorcycles (due to the stellar winter we're having), when something grabbed my attention. End result of that was I made the trip to North Bay last night and something followed me home.
Any guesses based on this pic? I will be shocked if someone can pick it off from that alone.
Sorry Stevie - you can't play.

You however, feel that these fuckers should get a pass when they commit crime in Canada. BTW, here's a little education for you - Islam is not a race.
I find it both interesting and telling that you purport to know how I feel Jizzleboi.
I obviously know that Islam is not a race, same as I know racist comments when I read them, even those that are thinly veiled by a feeble-minded goof.

My carbon fibre idler let go and the track caught on the adjustment bolts and folded like a beer can lol

They have their merits. You can fit at least two cases of cans under the seat for instance...........
