    It has been a good year for the stock market.  I have an account that has 50 to 70 stocks in it (small investment in each one) that I started in the middle of 2017.  it is just playing around money but I am close to doubling my money in it.  Is the market going to go down at some point, yes it is.  When it does, I will buy more of the stocks I have.  Then it will go back up.  Simple stuff.  Be patient and do a little research.

    I live in a democracy. But as Thanksgiving approaches, I find myself longing for the type of freedom I am seeing in China. 

    People in China are able to move around freely right now. Many Americans may believe that the Chinese are able to enjoy this freedom because of China’s authoritarian regime. As a scholar of public health in China, I think the answers go beyond that. 

    My research suggests that the control of the virus in China is not the result of authoritarian policy, but of a national prioritization of health. China learned a tough lesson with SARS, the first coronavirus pandemic of the 21st century. 

    How China flattened its curve 

    Barely less than a year ago, a novel coronavirus emerged in Wuhan, China, with 80,000 cases identified within three months, killing 3,000 people. 

    In late January 2020, the Chinese government decided to lock down this city of 11 million people. All transportation to and from the city was stopped. Officials further locked down several other cities in Hubei Province, eventually quarantining over 50 million people. 

    By the beginning of April, the Chinese government limited the spread of the virus to the point where they felt comfortable opening up Wuhan once again.

    what he said...I am tired of hearing how the US is fucking up...this thing spreads unless everyone stays in your house for months and the population density is small (see Australia).  I know about South Korea etc.  That shit won't fly here and apparently almost every other country.  We need the vaccine to stop this shit...period. end of story. 

    In saying that, I will continue to wear a mask and follow the guidelines like I have from the beginning.

    You are right the meatheads will fall in line no matter what...but anyone that can think sees that his actions are better than the words he chooses to articulate with.  There are a lot of people out there that are quiet about Trump and will be voting for him.  Btw, I think Trump is a flaming asshole but I am pretty sure I won't/can't pull the lever for a career, do nothing politician who is confused on a daily basis, with a far left cunt of a running mate.  It's a shame the democrats can't offer up a better guy.  both candidates suck ass for different reasons.  Oh yeah, and btw, if Biden wins, the republicans will run him through the wringer for as long as possible with the whole Hunter Biden shit and anything else they find real or imaginary.  Similar to how democrats have fucked with Trump since day one.  The only difference will be that the republicans won't have the media helping them, except for maybe Fox...lol.  If the country thinks the shit will end when Trump loses, they are sorely mistaken.  We need to clean house of all of these assholes but just don't know how to vote for common sense.  Term limits would help.

    How much are you going to cry when Trump wins in November?  It will be epic....I think both candidates are losers.  Trump, while being an asshole, can still form complete sentences and still knows who he is and where he is.  Let's see how big Joe does in the debates.  I was hoping that the democrats could find a reasonable alternative.  Nope, just another fossil, piece of shit, career politician.  At least I wouldn't have to read, listen and watch all of the crybabies (like you) every day complaining about Trump.  Here is a question for you to ponder, on a daily basis, does it really effect your daily life that much who is in the white house?  If it does, you need to find something else to occupy your time and your mind.  I just don't think I can pull the lever for Biden.  He is too old and not with it enough to suit me.
