Stimulus money is running out and banks are tightening up a bit. There’s a lot of buyers that’ll be upside down on their loans for years to come. This is a set up for a substantial drop in prices. The market has the makings for lengthy deflationary cycle. It’s going to get ugly.

Good for her, hope she's ok, and fuck all of you to death for issuing your ignorant backwards hillbilly fatboy armchair judgements.

Seriously, fucking die in a bridge collapse.

I hope that she is ok as well.  But, if she had doubts, she should have stayed home and taken care of herself.  Fortunately she lives in a country that for the most part will support her.  Imagine a Russian or Chinese athlete doing this?  I can't either.  End of story.

If you take the time to read the story I posted that was ONE reason among 50 why your employees are not coming back.

Taking the 60.00 a day away won’t matter to many.

I will get back to you and let you know how many employees will be easier to reach for work as soon as that $300 goes bye bye....For the short sighted, that $300 means everything.  I would have read the story but the link only let me read part of it.

  4. Mainecat....here is real world example for you to ponder...

Our employees make $30 per hour in wages and they have a $25 per hour benefits package.  We are having a difficult time getting many of them to come back to work.  They figure that after taxes etc. that their take home pay is about $800 per week.  In the lovely state of NY the maximum unemployment rate is $504 per week.  Add in the $300 and they are in the neighborhood of their take home pay.  They can sit home, hang out etc. and get close to the same money in their pocket weekly.  A lot of them can't see/don't care they are losing out by not working and putting money in their retirement plans, annuities, health insurance.  They live for today.  I agree, no millionaires are being created with the extra $300 but it is keeping many people from working.  They are grabbing some side work a couple days a week for $250 a day under the table and they are making more than usual and having a couple days off a week.

Yup, people say you can deny their unemployment because they are unavailable for work.  Not a great idea to have disgruntled employees working for you nowadays.

Sorry, i couldn't read your article, i don't subscribe to WSJ.  I don't need anyone telling me why people are not working.  I know why.  Some people only need a certain amount of money to make them happy.  They don't want or care about getting "ahead" in life.  Sadly, this mindset is becoming more prevalent.  When the $300 goes away, most of them will go back to work.

Each side trying desperately to make the other look stupid. Neither side able to see the forest for the trees. Meanwhile the crooked cunts in DC make more shady backroom deals.

This....is why we need term limits for the Senate and Congress...these assholes laugh behind the scenes at the average American....

would be a good meme if it also showed the pubs who are in the same positon instead of being pure partisan hackery

This....OP post is spot on if it included the republicans...we need to elect people that want to make the country better and advocate for the people who elected, not worry about getting re-elected.  I don't want politicians getting "good" at their job...the federal agencies (as overblown as they are...and that is a different subject) keep our country moving forward...

both sides and the media have done a great job at dividing this country.  They have made many people believe that if you don't agree with someone then you can't have a conversation with that person or agree to disagree...This website is a perfect example of that...at the end of the day our mindsets aren't as far apart as some would have you believe.  It is truly sad.

Yeah three and a half weeks in Biden hasn't even had the time to get the Trump stink out of the White House yet.

When he sucks ass after 3 and a half years, will you still be supporting him?  asking for a friend....

BTW...the guy is my president and I will give him a year to see what direction he is heading with his policies and executive orders...he is not starting out great....
