I thought it was funny, if he lowers the tax rate as planned, companies will stay.  The us is expected to shine next year with investments, mainly due to Trump.

You think Carrier will stay when Mexicans make in a day what the US employees make in one hour?

How's the Orange Turd gonna change that?

When did the last PM get over 50% of the vote?  So your argument does not hold water.  The fact remained he won a mandate from the electorate to govern, sorry if the losers like yourself can't seem to accept it.

Who said anything about 50% of the vote?  I'm talking about MP's from various parities forming a coalition.   WTF

Well doesn't that top the I could give a shit list?  Problem with Tards is they can't seem to accept who the people elect, they want to grab control and think they can do better.  He was elected, like it or not and that is who the country wanted to see as PM.

Not really.  Harper had a MINORITY government.  That means what?  More people didn't want him as PM than wanted him as PM.  We have a Westminster government and a coalition is a legitimate form of government if the minority loses confidence of the house.  That's just the way it is bub, sorry if you don't like it.

Harper was lucky that oil revenues were solid during his time in power. Cretien was lucky that interest rates dropped so low. That's what allowed the the Liberal's to balance the budget. Mulroney campaigned on attacking the debt. He lied.

Joe Clark was going to put a tax in place to attack the debt. He said it was something that needed to be addressed before it got out of hand. PET lied, said the tax wasn't necessary, got into power, put on the tax and then wasted it. PET was a fuckhead.

    They all were fuckheads.

Harper hung on too long. If he had stepped down, to make room for a more moderate leader, the conservatives would still be in power.

Iceman. What are your thoughts on Chong?

Chong is their best candidate, but they don't know it and I highly doubt he will win.  He's my MP, and although he's done a few things to pander for votes, he's a decent person. He's a Progressive Consevative.  The problem is he's a PC from Ontario and the westerners that control the party won't rally behind him.  All my opinion of course.

Peter Switzer wrote Clinton Cash. He's impeccable, the New York Times tried to debunk Clinton Cash for two years she had to admit they couldn't.

"Then there have been the errors. The most cringe-inducing involves a passage in the book in which Schweizer draws from a press release from TD Bank in which the Canadian financial institution supposedly announced its divestment from the contentious Keystone XL oil pipeline. The author suggests TD Bank tried to persuade the US government to back the pipeline using Bill Clinton as a conduit – an attempt that eventually failed when Obama kicked the decision down the road until after the 2012 presidential election, leading to TD Bank’s decision to divest.

Yet the press release was revealed to be a fake the same week it was circulated.

Similarly, Schweizer attempts in the chapter on the Haiti earthquake, Disaster Capitalism Clinton-Style, to link three lucrative speeches given by Bill Clinton in Ireland for a total of $600,000 to the awarding of a major contract in Haiti to Digicel, the telecoms company owned by Irish magnate Dennis O’Brien who had arranged Clinton’s appearances.

But as Buzzfeed pointed out, Bill Clinton was not paid on those occasions.

Perhaps the most seriously misleading element of the book involves the purchase by the Russian State Atomic Nuclear Agency (Rosatom) of a Canadian company, Uranium One, that had a large stake in US uranium output. Schweizer claims that a “central role” in the decision of the US government to approve the purchase was played by Hillary Clinton at the State Department at the same time as large donations were being made to the Clinton Foundation by individuals directly involved in the deal.

Yet in this case, as Time has shown, the State Department was only one of nine members of the inter-agency committee that made the final call, and even then there is no evidence that Clinton herself ever took part in the discussions."

Yeah, talking about the popular vote right now is really just pathetic.  Maybe they should just realize that people are sick of the liberal bullshit.  Admitting that would hurt the cause and they don't want that to loose steam.

What do you think would be going on right now if Hillary had squeaked out a win but Donald won the popular vote by 2+ million votes?

Can you please post a link to a credible source where you are getting these numbers updates?  I'm having trouble finding one.  Not that it matters, there's no doubt in my mind I can tear apart this whole "popular vote" thing with minimal research (which is probably why I cannot find a "credible" source).

Hey...but I keep finding these numbers...what do they mean?

    306 to 232.  :dunno:

Oh..but I am serious as to the link...just curious where you guys are getting this from.

LOL.  Lets tally up all the votes in the counties that she has already won.  This way it makes it look like democrats and their policies are relevant.   You do realize that republicans won in a huge way.

Trump won the election by 110,000 votes which tipped 3 states in his favour.  Yea, YUGE win

Right cause I'm the one who changed my political position after my BIL entered politics.  Hack away.

No, Harper lost my support after he governed like a douche.  Specifically, proroguing parliament numerous times just to avoid confidence votes.  He was a shit leader that nobody liked.  Good riddance.  The current crop of Con leadership hopefuls is a fucking joke too.  Let's hope they get their collective shit together, as it's not a good thing when any one party holds too much power.

Maybe he will take that record away from Harper time will tell.  But as it is now the 2 worst are both Conservatives adding 2/3+ of our entire historical debt -  Mulroney is a classic case, he is known to you as the best PM ever and holds the solo record of near 1/2 our debt at 300b in 8 years.  I know it was PET's fault so no need to post that

I am hoping Trudeau does well and Hope Trump does also - you on the other hand don't hope for Trudeau period, you wish failure on any Liberal

Yep, look up the definition of a Con hack and you'll find a pic of ArcticMoron.
