on a good note the economy up a few days ago was great. meaning THE STOCK MARKET other than that everyone is stillworking unlike any time in history

    :dunno:

    how do you see it

    Everyone still working?

All 6 ski areas here have closed, most for the season, and the remainder likely will close for the season. I don’t have exact number, but blue Mountain employs around 3000.  Then, there’s the spinoff businesses in the area that rely on ski traffic.  Lots of stores here are closing their doors.   March break is a huge money maker, that revenue is gone

Trudeau to speak at 1pm today, is a lockdown imminent?

Talked to one of my childhood friends today. He got laid off yesterday because he works for a company that builds booths and displays for conventions and shows and everything has been cancelled thru June. Can't wait to see what comes Monday.

I have two careers.  My summer job is in music festival production. One of my June events was cancelled a couple days ago. That was a 3500$ contract. So far the other events I sub to are a go, but if this shit continues, those will be cancelled, and no snow check for me.

  3. Personal - I’m going to have to cancel my trip down south, not for fear of catching the virus, but fear of being trapped in a quarantine by my, or some other governments new policy. I’m also worried about my parents who are at a high risk.

Work - We are already seeing less revenue, and now the parents of my younger p/t staff are keeping their kids at home in an attempt to mitigate their exposure.

yeah my buds kids were on the rmk last yr and it sucked they were constantly washing out or could not get them over . stuck all the time . on the bikes now and almost never stuck . but do tip over from time to time and even I have a hard time picking one up in deep they won't be don't tbat for a few more yrs

Ya, they can be a bitch when they tip over in deep snow, but still easier to get unstuck than any sled.  Mototrax made a Ltd amount of kits for the cr150r, arguably the best kids kit - although the adult versions are junk.

you guys are on the trail sled and I agree you can do better than the blast for a trail sled for a kid . but nothing is out there for kids for deep snow but the snowbikes

I’d agree. Bikes are way easier to ride in deep snow

I wasn't aware of that.  Every 2 rides sounds reasonable. Are you using synthetic or regular dino oil? I assume Dino due to price and frequency of your oil changes?

Been using amsoil syn 0w40 for five years now. Was rec on snowest,  never tried anything else.  Easy starting, never had a problem with clutch etc.  Online, lsome guys swear by rotella t6, but I personally know a guy that ran t6 and it destroyed his clutch.

I’ve got a 250sx that I hardly ride, I’m thinking of grabbing a used kit and building a backup/buddy bike.  Half the fun for me is putting it together, doing all the mods, and getting them to run well.
