  1. I always found that i had better reception with rogers than friends with bell. with rogers, be prepared to spend 30 min minimum on a call to get something done, even a basic question will take 20 min. fucking slow customer service....blaw blaw, find the right department...wait in the cue...answer secuirity questions... sorry i cant help you...back in the cue...more secuirity questions. once you find someone, you can here them flipping pages on how to fix your issue or hear them typing on google on how to fix your issue... sometimes you just want to go off on them. then they hang up on you...

i jumped to fido for 1/2 the cost. almost the same northern reception. same shit customer service

You're a legend in your own mind, aren't you, 02? :kissmyass:

And for someone who never had kids, you actually think, which isn't surprising, that you know what is going on with kids lives this day and age and the society the face today, and everything else for that matter.

Tell me, and tell the truth now, has anyone outside of this site ever told you, you like to hear yourself talk, especially about things you know zero about? :snack:

i will catch hell for this but i think 02 had a lot of valid points about corporate life and a few good comments about school. kids arnt going to the school because of the dog. it is a benefit of going to that particular school. i went to school because my dad had a big leather belt

    flame away

  4. I encourage everyone to watch the first 3 minutes of the movie nocturnal animals. the rest of the move is 6.5 out of 10

i watched it during the winter of '17.  I didn't want to start a new thread for a movie review.

BTW the Logan movie was good, but I didnt like the end, sad, as he was the franchise. i think they didnt have the budget to do a good effects movie

Sure have... three of the people my wife has been friends with since they were about six years old are teachers. They all married teachers. None of them have ever been outside of the education system. They went to school, university / teachers college and then back into the system as teachers. Of the six teachers, two of them are somewhat in tune with the rest of the world. Each summer one of her friends has a BBQ as soon as school is out. I dread going since it's about 85% teachers who are all saying how hard they have had it over the past year and how they need the summer off to recover. They even complain about the inability to take a winter vacation except during March break when the prices are the highest.

LOL, dont forget they will talk down to you as if you are one of their students, they are condescending, they think they have it hard... don't swear or touch any of the kids and you have a job and a pension for life. they are sheltered to the rest of the world. they think they are gods...educating the masses. my ex wife was a teacher. funny how lots of teachers are in multi level marketing scams

That would certainly keep it out of the water but will likely cost more than the port.  I detach mine and float it up on shore over winter, real easy 10 minute task.  If you can't leave that in the water, that would be a royal pain.

look at craigslist detroit or buffalo. used ones are between $300- 500

  7. it was +10 just north of Midhurst. lots of sleds. some like my kids driving with out gloves. trails were a little bumpy on the way to horseshoe valley. lots of snow

are your numbers in L/100km or mpg? seems like first are in L/100km and then you switch to mpg at the end?

and how are you spending $10K on gas a year at 30,000 km driving?

sorry all in L/100km, just wrote it wrong. 2015 35000 km - $9200 in gas. I dont know heavy foot. i dont have 2016 numbers yet

  9. i was very interested in the ram diesel for the gas mileage, to bad they are having problems. I'm currently in a 2014 f150 twin turbo. the truck is fast, love the speed. I'm getting - winter tires -  the dash says  15.6 mixed driving. highway is  14.5 @ 1900 rpm @ 120 kph.  pulling a 4 place aluminum clam shell trailer with 1 sled in it - 22.8 -  2000 rpm @120 kph. pulling an aluminum 7x23 V nose with 3 sleds in it 28.6  @ 2100 rpm @120kph. summer tire gas mileage was 0.03 better. i do about 30000 km a year +and i wanted better gas mileage. I spend around a little less than $10K on gas. i was hoping the diesels would be bullet proof, with better mileage. just FYI my 2010 gmc yukon with a 5.3 was getting 17 mixed(dash) and my 2010 f150 with a 5.4 was at 18 mph on the dash mixed

  10. I picked it up this weekend in Quebec. i'm not a fan of the 7 foot wide trailers. my 7x23 is ok for 3 sleds. but i dont want to squeeze 4 in there on a regular basis. so i bought this. I picked up a fourth sled (blown - 06 600 sdi) or a fifth sled if you include the blown phazer i have. this tows fantastic. just like a 10 footer. i think i need a 4' drop hitch for my 7x23. my 7x23 doesnt tow well empty. but 3 inside and 1 in the back of the truck it tows better. i think it is hitch height.

They went to the same high school and were acquaintances  of my older brother and sister .

His brother comes by one day , I must have been ten , on this red bike . He says to impress my sister , here you can have it . So I'm riding it down at Yonge and Sheppard , and some older kid comes up with his friends , screaming " that's my bike " . I froze , he described every detail about it sayin if I didn't give it back they'd beat the shit out of me.  They got the bike back , and I walked home . Sister was pissed at him . Typical Timlek .
