Combine the hackers with a shortage of drivers, sounds like a good day! Yet years ago things still moved without computers, bean counters win again!

Feds are going after the other 3 officers as well.

Why do politicians always want to "create" jobs when we can't even fill readily available open positions?

I have been using it to try and help my nerve pain, headaches, muscle pain, etc, and all I get is brain fog. I need to step it up to MMJ, but haven't done so yet. I've had many surgeries though, so didn't expect much relief from it, but wanted to try.

Shortage of fuel drivers doesn’t help. Company I haul fuel for has lost 21 drivers since Jan 2020, zero new drivers have started.

Had to travel to NY for surgery (currently in hospital), so vaccinated to help reduce possibility of Covid. Likely wouldn’t have received vaccination if I didn’t have surgery scheduled.

Our local local gas “emporium”, Kwik trip”, has some good stuff too. I love that place.
Circle K bought Holiday, so it’s available in the north land as well…

What was the total install price? What is the ROI in years? What is the lifespan/replacement average? I'm intrigued by them, just can't get the numbers to work in my favor.

It is 4/20, time to celebrate...

What was he wanted on? Drug possession charges or petty theft?
Authorities said the car was pulled over for having an expired registration and after determining the driver had an outstanding warrant, police said they tried to arrest him. Then the driver reentered the vehicle, and an officer fired, striking him, police said. The vehicle traveled several blocks before striking another vehicle.
Court records show Wright was being sought after failing to appear in court on charges that he fled from officers and possessed a gun without a permit during an encounter with Minneapolis police in June. In that case, a statement of probable cause said police got a call about a man waving a gun who was later identified as Wright.

I'm reading up on some of what is going on today.
Why would they "relieve" their city manager of their duties over this?
Because he wanted to follow the correct actions and not political/peer pressure, and therefore they quickly terminated him
The Brooklyn Center City Council voted to fire Boganey, a longtime city employee, during an emergency meeting, the Star Tribune reported. At the same meeting, the council voted to give the mayor command authority over the city’s police department.
During a virtual workshop after the meeting, Council Member Kris Lawrence-Anderson said she voted to fire Boganey out of fear of potential reprisals from protestors if she did not, according to the newspaper.
"He was doing a great job. I respect him dearly," Lawrence-Anderson said. "I didn't want repercussions at a personal level."Before leaving the podium, Elliott (mayor) noted that Boganey, as city manager, had the authority to determine whether the officer would be fired. Boganey noted that he would not take immediate action to remove the officer.
"All employees working for the city of Brooklyn Center are entitled to due process with respect to discipline," Boganey said. "This employee will receive due process and that’s really all that I can say today. When pressed on whether he personally felt the officer should be fired, Boganey again called for due process.
"If I were to answer that question, I'd be contradicting what I said a moment ago -- which is to say that all employees are entitled to due process and after that due process, discipline will be determined," Boganey said. "If I were to say anything else, I would actually be contradicting the idea of due process."

2020 was epic in my household. 2021 is shaping up to be stellar year already. The raise my union negotiated on my behalf is my best raise ever this year. I think the only raise that will beat this year is when they raise the fed minimum wage and the negiotating power we will acquire from that raise will be something very special.
IBEW does have some good compensation/benefits! Many unions seems to be going backwards, glad it is working out for you.

Took the words right off my fingers. The climate is ALWAYS changing.
No human would inhabit this earth if the climate didn’t change millions/thousands of years ago! Yet you can’t argue that fact with many, it’s hilarious!

150-200 officers retired, or out on disability in the last year. 100k salary/benefits gets you 64 officers, good luck!

Aren’t enough fuel haulers, rates are crap and most drivers left to haul freight. Company I work for has lost 20 drivers since January 2020 and haven’t hired one new driver.
