I wonder who would win..... a 130hp sled, or the 165..... yes, we'd better put them on the gun.
Poor Fuzzy, when his meds run out, he reveals to the entire community how moronic he is.
to be fair the indy is only 140hp

Hey I'm in for this, I'm on a black '14 Eltigre 600 with gripper skis.
What time you guys heading out there? Would be cool if some other brand 600's show up to compare against, I've hit 100mph on the speedo in 1200ish feet before but never put her on a gun. Sounds like fun.
It will be last minute at this point. a bunch of the modded sled guys will be going to gull lake this saturday instead now. I will post here sunday morning when we head out

So I assume you didn't dail in the suspension to your weight?....you basically jumped on his sled and beat the shit out of it then came up with this excellent review, your buddy must be a great guy...or sucker...
Let's just pretend you are like 100lbs heavier than your buddy, or maybe 104 lbs, just guessing.......Maybe next time, which I doubt there will be, you can dail it in correctly before stating the R Motion is superior for which it is not.....
The Puzzle Vortex is an amazing thing.....
sounds like i know who owned the xcr pussle got to ride

Someone should bring an 850. Then, when it bursts into flames, we can enjoy marshmallows and hot dogs on Cooch......

Shotgun, cool. Your mom just rides on my lap.
How you been brutha, we missed you! In all seriousness, how are sales? I hope that these last couple of winters don't hurt the dealers too much. Not good for anybody....
I dont let her ride on my lap that would be distracted driving..
Lol
Shits moving. Not crazy but theres always something to do which is nice. Personally I'm busy as I am involved in other ventures outside of the powersports business now

You don't? $271 including tax? You must work for Polaris.
XTXs are $135 at Royal, and have never had an issue with them.
135 and does that come with a yamaka?

Price out those Polaris belts. Yeah, their sleds might be cheaper, but they're certainly hoping to make up the difference at the parts counter!
$240 for an axys belt? I honestly don't find it ridiculous..

I'm sure they are Tommy, and I'm by no means saying that the polaris belt is not good. Let's say after a few years of using Gates belts over many thousands of miles that in my opinion they deliver better value than the OEM Polaris 115 or 117 respectively.
What does the comparable Gates cost you?
I can order them FYI

BTW, anyone around and studded up, some of the guys from Perf Rec and Bracebridge Yamaha as well as myself will be running some sleds on the gun on cooch again this sunday. Weather looks great. Bring some food and some drink. Radar your sled etc.... should be a good time. ( you can park at performance and run down the trail beside the shop and hop right on the lake, head north on the lake for 30 seconds and you will see everyone out having a good time!)

I found I could squeak 2-3 more liters in the demo assault if i fully collapsed the suspenion...

No need to spend $250 on the 117. Gates carbon is the best Polaris belt.
No aftermarket belt is technically better than OEM..... AFAIK Polaris belts are patented and exact replicas cannot be made by the aftermarket brands. Therefore you cant obtain the proper taper belt/clutch face.

Tommy what year is your XCR, I've always liked those old triples, expecially the 2000 - 2003's models. They were lake rockets

Tommy any other 800's to run against....was it still pulling at the 1000 ft mark?
Nope, this sunday is a different story though. Ill have the gun out there again. prob take the indy too and no, its right out of gear by 6-750ft
23 hours ago, Puzzleboy said:Tommy, did you buy Poncho's old Indy?
fuck no have you been drinking? I would never buy another sled
17 hours ago, ArcticCrusher said:Tommy was likely doing that during work hours.
Bracebridge Yamaha was a little too cocky so I told them on the gun id be within 5-10mph on that used indy vs the stock sidewinder.

pussleboy should bring an 850 out on sunday. ive got a 16year old $2500 800 xcr that might make him cry

Speaking of you and top speeds, yesterday I had your 800 Indy on cooch for radar runs. glare ice and about -10c.. maybe 5-15kmh tail winds. 1000 feet. run one 108.4mph run 2 109.9mph run 3 110.5mph run 4 110.4mph
Stock sidewinder 137inch track ran 118mph
not stock sidewinder with non extensive upgrades ran 131.2 mph (clutching changes, mbrp race muffler, fuel programmer)

My first trip to Cochrane was wicked. Can see myself only going north to ride in the future.
This was northbound piston alley for a smoke n piss break. Only got 315 miles in over the weekend. But it was worth it. Weather wasnt cooperating yesterday so we loaded up and turned before the freezing rain hit. Still only made it to Liskeard before we were rolling ice blocks in the trucks.
