the snap on truck stopped by today and announced all the regular bs, snap on best way to build credit, 1200 dollar approval today and shit

what im wondering is...how good are their power tools? i know they have a few misses as verified by ave, but i want to know is the drill a hit? im talkin about cordless btw. i already have a makita drill chager and 2 big batteries, but if the snap on tools are worth it i might sell what i got now for a red set.

Snap On battery operated power tools are middle of the road at best.  Milwaukee 18v Fuel or Dewalt 20v XR Max are the best battery operated tools for most people.  Both have a wide variety of tools and accessories.  I have both the Milwaukee 18v Fuel tools and the Dewalt 20v XR tools.  About 10 of the Milwaukee tools and 7 Dewalt tools.  Both are good.

I'm sure some stores enforce more or less than others.   Fact is a business has the right to implement this.   I don't think its that big of deal right now.

If corp Costco makes a policy stating masks are mandatory I can't imagine individual store managers ignoring the policy.  I suppose enforcement may vary.

All AK Costco's have mandatory mask policies.  You want to shop at Costco, you wear a mask.

Might be store to store dude.

According to the link I posted above the mask policy applies to all stores, all employees and all members/guests except those under 2 years of age and those who can not wear a mask for medical reasons.

    Dear Costco Member,

To help protect our employees and members, effective May 4, 2020, all Costco members and guests must wear a face covering that covers the mouth and nose, at all times while at Costco. This requirement does not apply to children under the age of 2 or to individuals who are unable to wear a face covering due to a medical condition.

Costco employees are required to wear face coverings, and now we are asking that Costco members do so too. We know some members may find this inconvenient or objectionable, but under the circumstances we believe the added safety is worth any inconvenience. This is not simply a matter of personal choice; a face covering protects not just the wearer, but others too.

In short, we believe this is the right thing to do under the current circumstances. Although some may disagree with this policy or question its effectiveness, we’re choosing to err on the side of safety in our shopping environments. Costco has continued to operate during this crisis as an essential business in all of our communities, and our employees are on the front lines. As part of a community, we believe this simple act of safety and courtesy is one that Costco members and employees can undertake together.

I grew up with that. There were lots of neighborhoods all over Chicago that if a black person was seen walking around or whatever they would get attacked. The message was dont come here. It went all the way into the 90's, some towns when a black family would move in their houses and property would get vandalized until they moved.

Many suburban town police got busted for racial profiling meaning they were mostly pulling over and ticketing vehicles with black drivers. It kind of came to a head when in Bridgeport (neighborhood Mayor Daley lived in and grew up in) the mayors nephew beat the shit out of a semi retarded black kid for riding his bike thru the neighborhood. That made national news and it finally started to come to an end.

I thought Illinois was a northern state?  Part of the Union that freed the slaves. Land of Lincoln and all.  Why was there so much violence against blacks by the yankees in Chicago?

Finished cleaning-up the place. Two days myself, and another two days with my helper.

My helper worked like shit. He's about 70. I was getting so pissed I was gonna' tell him to leave, but he's somewhat of a family friend.

I'm done with him, I gotta' find somebody else. At the end of the day, I say to myself I could have done what he did and saved the money.

$22.00 an hour, cash. Fuck that. It's not so much the money, it's his fukkin  lack of fast, hard work that pissed me off. Something is wrong with him, normally he is non-stop talking, past two days he didn't say a word. We think he might be sick or somethin'.

If he was not feeling good, he should have told me. I'm not reading anybody's fukkin mind.

He has the CV. Now you have it too.
