    That’s surprising. Not because I didn’t think it was happening, but when I was getting out there was this huge push to combat sexual assault. Called SHARP. Sexual harassment and rape prevention. I mean it was ridiculous how hard they pushed it. We joke we spent more time in rape prevention classes than we did training to boot stomp brown people.

    I mean... that’s a huge jump in numbers. You’d think after 5+ years of training not to do that or how you could be drunk and not make a good choice, that it wouldn’t have that sort of jump.

    I just did hoodrat shit with the boyz. I’ve shared plenty of what I did and went. Never tried to wave it, but I’d try to shine light on certain questions or perspectives. 

     

    Why can’t you guys just call a truce. Not having Slinger and SR here is causing much strife haha.

    That’s a huge problem. It is theft as far as I’m concerned. Legislation needs to be written holding those fund and dictating only where they can go. No ifs, ands, but’s about it. Not to mention that the gas tax is only truly fair if you refund those lowest earners. Just propping it up only hurts the poor, especially if the damn funds don’t get used as they are intended. I don’t trust government to allocate my taxes where they say they will. When it comes down to it, that’s why we as conservatives, have an issue with raising taxes. We will pay fair taxes when we known it will go to what we deem as something with a return and in line with advancement of civilization. And in part it’s something that the private industry can’t do better like fire and police.

    I have a few simple questions. Why, given Venezuela is a sovereign nation, is it our business what they do with their oil? Let’s assume every claim you made was 100% correct for sake of argument. Who are we to tell them otherwise? Would our intervention in their sovereign country’s choice not be a violation of their sovereignty? If it is to control the price of oil by doing so, that is irrelevant since it isn’t our oil. Who are we to challenge another country’s sovereignty? 

    At the end of the day, no country owes us a commodity. To think otherwise is foolish. By influencing their markets, we are acting in a manner that is claiming a level of ownership over their oil therefore there sovereignty. That, as a conservative thinker, would not be ok in any case if the roles were switched. Perspective.
