sorta proves that they didn't do fuck all in reality
Govt expenditures is a big part of the GDP. That was shut down for a third of the quarter. For us to grow at over 3% without a major factor of GDP is a big deal. But yeah, fuck all other than spend, spend, spend.

We were kinda slow the first quarter of this year. So was alot of my competition. Slower than last year same time. Things are ramping up pretty bigly right now tho.
Shitty weather and cold play into that you think?

It is pretty impressive considering the govt was shut down for a month... Economy keeps on trucking.

Fucking military worship is so immature. Like adults playing some faggy fantasy game like World of Warcraft or something
Worship would be sucking them off. Explaining the truth to rev is a little different.

Your original statement was 30 rangers and you are still trying to play that off as true.
They would have been slaughtered without air support. Doesn’t matter how many times you chant USA.
You remind me of that fat fuck US General during gulf war one. He called out the Britts for losing more planes. The British general trotted out the accuracy of the British bombing vs USA.
I think he said something along the line of “That’s because we fly low enough to hit the target the first time instead of having to fly 3 or 4 sorties for the same target. “
Fat boy had to shut up after that.
Whoosh. I understand what it means when Rangers get in a fire fight... But keep pretending like I meant they didn’t have air assets.

What about those creepy SOG guys with the CIA? What’s their deal?
They’re all ex SOF military. Basically same shit as the military with less rules and more money.

Each branch of the military claims that they’re the best or most effective. Truth is that they all depend on one another to fulfill a mission. In the end, it’s alway the guys on the ground that not only take the big beating, but are most responsible to either win or lose a battle.
And no one is better than the guys that fly our planes. 20 years of dropping bombs make you really fucking good.

You're the dumbfuck that think 30 Rangers took on 10 times as many Russians and are cheering USA USA.
Flag waiving dumbfuck.
You just don’t get it. Rangers, SF, Seals, Delta, etc aren’t only good because they shoot better. They command assets that no other military or force does. All the air power in the world and all the fancy toys are only useful when deployed properly. No one deploys assets like the above guys. Sorry you don’t understand modern war, but it’s more than how you shoot and move.
Then again all those guys above shoot and move infinitely better than any other adversary we have. Your own SF being included as elite like the above. Why? Because unlike Russia, China, whomever, we’ve been doing it since 2001. Our NCO’s and officers in those ranks have every asset, every piece of training (designed and refined by 20 years of combat), and actual real world experience that Spetsnaz or some banana republic SOF dude will ever have in 100 lifetimes.
That’s why 30 dudes can lay waste to 300. This isn’t a fluke. American SOF forces, British, Canada, Polish, and all the others who’ve been dropping people since 2001 are on a different level.
1 minute ago, revkevsdi said:So the Rangers were better because they beat 10 times their number????
is that how this works?
It’s starting to look the way it did when Hollywood spent 30 years trying to win the Vietnam war with Chuck, Arnie and Stallone
Rangers are better because of their design and outfitting. A force on force battle isn’t Delta’s thing... That’s Ranger bread and butter. When you’re done being embarrassed, let me know.

You left college to catch bullets. Awesome Dawson
Total moron. I mean, in the end it all buffed out. Didn’t die, got my degrees, etc.

So your answer to throwing a middle finger up to the everyday malaise of modern life was to enlist as a merc in a terrorist org? What a fucking moron you are. At least Ryan did it to get his college paid for. You had your Rambo freedom pants on and thought you'd finally get to be a badass
I actually had my college already paid for lol. I had a full scholarship coming out of high school. I’m of superior intellect and physical ability. I did it because I was bored and thought it’d be a cool story. Young and misguided. Does make for a cool story though.

If you’re gonna do it for he adventure, GO ALL IN!!!!! Ben (and many others) think you can move out from the grunt ranks of you are smart enough. Half my fucking team had at least an associates and I was a junior in college before I went in.
Fuck the normal world. There had to be more to it that school then work.
Actually, statistically speaking there are more people with college degrees or some college in the infantry than any other job in the military. Fun fact!!!

Hey dumbfuck.....the military probably does a decent job moving those with better than average intelligence out of meatsack territory. Not sure how Manbun slipped through and ended up getting to the hot lz
Also I've never thanked anyone for their service.....ever.....because it's not service.
I chose a combat job. If you’re gonna be in the military, you might as well do hoodrat shit. Dropped my full ride scholarship to do it. 18 year olds are dumb.

But are they really ok? I have a bud did many yrs special ops. Face to face he seems fine. But cant help but wonder if some day he just comes unglued
The media/Hollywood has turned my generation of soldiers into fragile little things. It just isn’t the case. Of course there are those messed up, but it isn’t as bad as depicted.

This is why we dont need a fucking military. Take kids with average intelligence and send them out in to the world to be exposed to senseless violence from a distance. It's a fucking complete shock we dont have way more soldiers committing atrocities here.
True. Very true. I’m always surprised how resilient people are. How many people saw some serious shit, and are 100% ok.

Are drones used to identify targets for fixed/rotary winged assets and missiles?
Not really. I’m sure they could. I’ve never seen that. Drones are useful for command and control for fixed and rotary. It helps with the overall picture on the ground. The pilots can hijack the drone feed and run it separate from their own view. Basically doubling cameras and situational awareness. The best part is ground guys like JTACs can view the fixed and rotary pilot’s cameras on a tablet. That’s when it gets fun. Easier to communicate and walk them on target. Plus you get to watch shit get ass raped like TV.

I guess I'm just shocked that our planes/attack helicopters are only used in that manner in ground attacks. Guess it probably was ROE in that theater.
You have to remember the kill radius of a GBU is hundreds of meters depending on its size. All ground targets look the same from the air. There is some serious deconfliction needed. I shouldn’t also say never. There have obviously been one off’s where fixed or rotary were firing on targets from command direction in a toc. It just isn’t the case for 99% of the time.

They were striking hard fixed targets that we had Intel on. Not an active battlefield scenario
Exactly.

So in the early hours of the Gulf War and Shock and Awe of operation Iraqi Freedom no non-drone aircraft were delivering ordinance without ground force callouts and direction?
Completely different story. Attacking known locations during pre invasion strikes and GWOT continuing operations are not the same thing. Troops in contact handle all air assets from the ground. End of story. But please, tell me more how it works. This was my shit. I’m not trying to wave it around in your face, but this is what I did. It’s how it is.
