  1. Question Sean,

To plead not guilty to a traffic offense, you now have to drive to a designated courthouse unless you live more 50km away. Also, it has to be Monday-Friday between 9am and 5pm???? As Donald would say, this is a rigged system to discourage citizens to fight traffic violations and reduce court costs. Who implemented this system, the Ontario courts or would it be the townships themselves? Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas to you and your family!

    Cheers!

You completely missed the point.  If golf courses can still use it and poison the water table, it can't really be that bad, right?  They could hire people or employ prisoners and welfare bums to pull weeds.  They don't "need" weedkiller any more than I do.  Are golf courses a staple of society?  Lol

Using your rationale, toxic waste should still be allowed to be dumped into the lake by industry because hey, that's business.

Like I said, the entire ban is a crock of shit.  More people are suffering from weed allergens, than anybody ever was from the miniscule amount of weed killer that got into the water.  Kinda like DDT.

At least our brothers to the south still make it available to Canadians.  :)

You are correct that it is a crock of shit, but golf courses have trained personal who know how to properly apply pesticides and herbicides. If a spill or accident would happen, they have the knowledge on how to deal with the situation. Most home owners can't even properly calculate the amount of herbicide/water ratio required to treat the acreage that they don't even know what it is? Also, golf courses would become extinct without the use of herbicides and pesticides fyi. I would be more worried about the vegetables you eat grown at hwy 9 and 400!!!!:stoned:

Yep, so can golf courses.  That's why the entire ban is a crock of shit.

Golf courses have to document when/where/amounts they spray and are checked annually. Sure they can fudge the numbers, but not drastically fyi. The ban is a crock of shit because the government has no means of enforcing the ban imo.

A full glass of wine with little to no food in her stomach could cause the warning for sure.  As for requesting to attend the detachment.. no.  To be honest, the roadsides are setup so they always favour the motorist.  So the warn could potentially be even higher and a fail would be above .99  The accuracy is great.  The technology has been around a long time.

My thinking is, if I know I'm not impaired and won't blow over, I would want to confirm the warning by getting an actual confirmed read. Also, .051 could become .048 pretty quickly imo???? Sorry, that's the end.....lol

There is no actual number once you exceed the. 05 mark.  Just shows a W or an F if you are above .08.  If she blew a warn while truly only having 1 glass, she's either about 95lbs or it was one huge glass.

She's 140ils....the ivy has those old small wine glass's, but she said the bartender filled it up! Question odot, if she had requested to be driven to the station to blow, is the officer legally forced to oblige?  Also, the accuracy of those car breathalyzers must be questionable, no? Thanks, enjoy the riding season!

Because everything is on camera these days...and everybody sues should she drive away and get into a collision.  You're damned if you do, damned if you don't.

1 drink, the cop had a conversation with her before he made her blow and he couldn't even give her the actual number that she blew? It's not right man, that's my opinion..............we need more common sense! I don't even believe that she could blow a warning with 1 glass of wine??? Do things right, they get a DD and she gets screwed!

  8. Wednesday night my friend goes for a drink with some friends after work, really late at night in Milton. She is the DD and has 1 glass of wine. Cop is out back of the Ivy, which everybody knew, and my friend stops at her friends parked car to get some things. Cop radioed his buddy on the main street so he pulls up in another vehicle and long story makes her blow. He says he can't get a reading, but eventually shows her that she blew a warning.......hard to believe on only 1 drink??? Anyways, now her license is suspended for 3 days, but it works out to be 5 days because of the holiday. $150 to her license back, warning will show on her drivers abstract affecting her insurance etc. My point is, obviously she wasn't impaired, why couldn't the cop just do the right thing at 2am in the morning?

  9. My APEX is the weakest in mileage/tank in our group now, I can only get 130 miles under good conditions, which causes taking a few extra litres with me every so often. The 1200 poo gets similar mileage but has a larger tank and the 600 etec  can go forever!!!
