As for your son buy him a 230 four stroke and he can ride that without any real worry for a year or so. I wouldn't get him anything faster but its a full frame bike.

My son has a Wr250 4 stroke and its way too fast for a beginner rider.

I love my Ecoboost, better gas mileage than my 2016 Chev 5.3 and I had a 2017 ram for one month with the hemi.

Couldn't wait to get rid of it. Had to sell off family heirlooms to pay the gas bill.

honestly, Zoso, and Puzzle wrecked this whole place. It was a constant battle of idiocy and downright mean spiritedness.

Some of the things said were too low and frankly, made me leave on many occasions.

Engines are pretty simple.

Spark, fuel air. Change wires, plugs and clean up terminals, change fuel filter. That's about all you can do on those computer units.

Unless you know the distributor setting and can look at fuel pressure you need to scan it.

My guess is could be the prop.

its computer cotrolled. Get it diagnosed by a scanner.
