Shitty pics but it is what it is. Can't control the lighting. We had two engine changes this week, the little one wasn't done and we started the big one next door.20170925_140136.thumb.jpg.ca25bc8dc7f50cfbcb81abac31e0cd23.jpg20170927_110450.thumb.jpg.ace723fb1c0066b39b8e31abbdb19d3e.jpg20170925_140149.thumb.jpg.e0a3e32dd839a194de8dbfcad3268bd1.jpg Had to be the warmest days of the year, just like working in a sweat shop. Must have lost ten pounds.

Love when you post up pics from work, Im trying to push one of my sons into that direction for a post secondary option. If the day comes I decide to buy a little 172/182 would be nice to have him to sign of on my papers also LOL.

I am flying a 172 and its an uncontrolled field .....my main mission will be flying into another small controlled field ....I dont have a whole ton of interest in busy airports either

You will enjoy it, will be surprised what those little tin coffins can do up there. If/when you get the chance to fly in a low wing like a Piper or similar try that, I found it much more exciting when I got to take the controls.

I havent had any health issues in my life aside from my back....no meds no nothing

You will be ok then, flying the plane (likly a Cessna 152/172 is the easy part) communicating with ATC/ground is the scary shit if you fly controlled. Thoses guys can be dicks . The day i finally get licence id just like to buy a STOL Cub and fly outta a grass strip and check some shit out . No interest in flying into controlled airports/fields.

Cool. I don't know if things have changed up here in Ontario but I seem to remember my buddy having to do a certain amount of GS before they got to fly. But that was decades ago.

Im just trying to finish up my PPL (Ontario), as soon as your registered in flight school you can do your in air time which is 40 hrs as your doing the ground school portion as well. You have to pass the in house practice exam (most places do this) before you write the transport canada exam. Surprisingly you only need 60% on the written exam which comprises of 4 different subjects and a total of 100 multiple guess questions. Its the cat 3 medical exam that really is the worst part, many meds and medical issues will prohibit ppl to get a pass. If hook nose goes into a Drs for a medical they would probably flunk his ass just on first glance. :)

also walkerton for those ontario folks to remember

Its very unfortunate that ppl lost there lives but it was the eye opener this province needed in regards to drinking water acts and regulations that have now been implemented. Plants were  being operated buy ppl not fit for the position of being in charge of something as important as drinking water. Requires much more schooling, testing and training now, Which Im all for.

  7. My 1.5 yr old Landseer Newf Finnley (138lbs) and my wifes dog Leilah which I call a mexican street dog we rescued at a local gas station a from a cpl of crackheads that were about to throw her in a dumpster cause they couldnt afford food for her, so we gave them $50 to give us the dog.

Does poopy get mixed in with drinking water?

Well in the great grand picture it does eventually lol, but not in the sense I think youre picturing. All depends on the facility, the one Im at now is a deep lake intake so its pretty awesome source water. My first facility I ever ran was one of the most complex in North America due to the source of water on a shallow river that was downstream for other major cities discharging there "treated" waste water from the shit plants. Rainstorms and spring runoff would make the intake water turn from clear to thicker than chocolate milk in hours. Its a very overlooked line of work and should be, as long as people can open there taps and have clean safe water then we are doing our job. When it gets fucked up it hits the news pretty big, ie. Flint Mi.
