He said pay their fair share.

If the top 10% are bringing in 90% of the income they should pay 90% of the taxes paid to the gov.

    You don't agree to that?

No, the guys making $30k a year should be paying the same tax rate!!!1!

I agree we should end refundable credits so you can't get back $7500 more than you paid in in taxes, but to think someone making $500K a year paying a 40 percent fed rate isn't fair is a little asinine.

    PS:

Why is Maine a top 10 taker state like AL and MS?

    Clueless as usual.

Intangible drilling costs act like an oil companies Cost of Goods Sold, which every company deducts as a cost of making a product. Then depletion which is used across many industries which is like depreciation and you've been owned on before.

Domestic Production Activities Deductions are abused by a lot of other industries too. I would like to see that repealed and just focus on tariffs and other penalties for companies that move production overseas.

So please show where we give them $4 billion a year with money from federal coffers, not from allowing them to take deductions many/most other industries take. :news:

The worst thing is you can't even frame your own argument, you either just have a link or throw up a quote which shows you have absolutely no knowledge on the subject, just parrot whatever talking point you agree with.

    Here, I'll do like you:

    "What are IDCs?

Intangible drilling costs, or IDCs, are expenses that are necessary and incident to drilling and preparing oil and gas wells for production, but have no salvageable value. IDCs include such expenses as labor, fuel, repairs, hauling, supplies, chemicals, surveys, and installation costs.

It’s also important to note what an IDC isn’t. IDCs do not include expenses for tangible equipment that has salvage value, which must be capitalized and depreciated, leasehold costs, or costs unrelated to drilling, such as storage, treatment or well operating costs."

 Revisionist history there Junior.  Big oil gets taxpayer money and you clowns justify it even when they are making record profits.

Im not a fan of giving Israel more money.....but let's remember how many times the R's have claimed Obama does not support Israel.  How can you have it both ways?

Show me where big oil gets $4 billion a year directly from the taxpayer/government funds. You throw up depletion expense and stupid shit like that which many companies get. I wish the thread on FS wasn't deleted cause you scurried away after getting spanked.

I'm not a registered republican and Maine representatives aren't chicken hawks like Bitch McConnell and his merry band of faygohts. :bc:

4 billion/year.  Don't we give that much to the Oil companies?  Bigger fish to fry bro - but let's focus on the small stuff

This does have bipartisan support so,let's move on.

Tax deductions and giving a company money are way different, you've been slapped around on this before.

And as long as Obama does it, killing brown people and giving money to other nations that kill brown people/Muslims is just fine eh?

top 1% could use a tax break cause overall the top 1 percent doesnt make that much money at all.

Yeah no shit, I'd love to be poverty stricken like someone who only makes $200k a year.

 Fill me in on my childhood and coddling....

Well when you screw off in college and you don't get a job in your field when you get out cause you don't have too...

So what guns laws do you want?

  7. 6 minutes ago, SnowRider said:

. The Mainetahd's are embarrassing.  The most defensive bunch of lil fella's Eva'h.... I think you're the only one over 6'0.... :lmao:

The point is - gun laws do and can work - so the rww's just need to admit they lack the fortitude to pass them.  Hence - they really don't GAF about the victims of mass shootings. :dunno:

I knew I was spot on about your upper middle class coddled childhood, no wonder you're as liberal as you are versus a hard working lower middle class guy like me pulling myself up by the bootstraps. :snack::lol:

I could GAF less about whether someone was killed in a group of people or by themselves. Murder is murder. So what specifically would you like to see passed for laws? :dunno:

  8. 6 minutes ago, SnowRider said:

:fool: Nobody GAF about Maine.  It's an after thought and you should do yourself a favor and get out more often while you're young.  Sure Maine is a nice a state - but there's are a lot of nice states.  Maine has more defensive Butthurt Frenchmen than any other state - I'll give you that.

    image.jpeg

I didn't have well off parents to let myself screw around in college and after graduation like some accusers here. :snack:

And you guys gave plenty of fucks about Maine with 3 Lepage threads a day there for a while. And the only butthurt guy I saw on here were the ones posting while golfing and after midnight. :snack:

Not to mention we're never going to implement an Australian type gun ban here, Americans are emotionally attached to their guns and cars. :bc:

  9. 4 minutes ago, SnowRider said:

 There's no compromising with the NRA and as a result - their popularity is diminishing. Most gun legislation being discussed is supported by the majority of citizens...like I said - Be careful what you wish for :bc:

 Humane society and bear baiting  Stick to the subject Junior

Most citizens supported going to war with Iraq too and how did that turn out?

We'll see how it shakes out, I don't have a problem passing a background check, but saying we have too many guns, how do you plan on confiscating said weapons, especially out of the hands of criminals? We do just fine up here with tons of guns yet are one of the safest states in the nation. Seems like it's only certain demographics statistically that need their weapons taken. :snack:

The humane society is a good comparison to anti gun nuts sparky, you're one of the bleeding hearts that would support them too.

Which would be extremely inaccurate unless youre an expert marksman like Slinger who can hit a guy in the knee from 100 feet away while he's running.

I could fire any semi-automatic weapon that fast, should we ban all semi-auto weapons or just scary ones? :dunno:

  11. 3 hours ago, SnowRider said:

I not choosing for anyone.  The simple fact is more guns equate to more suicide/homicide.  The correlation is evident from state to state and other countries.  Sure - there are always going to be a few outliers but it doesn't change the basic premise of the argument.  You're defending a dead end - saying no to any and all gun policy will only result in more drastic measures being taken down the road.  Be careful what you wish for. :bc:

We'll cross that bridge when we get there. Once the AR-15 is banned they'll come for handguns and other semi-automatic weapons. There's no compromising with these people, just like the humane society trying to ban bear baiting when they really want to ban all hunting. We'll see how it shakes out, but until then I'll continuing fearing for my life from people that are killing themselves.

  12. 2 minutes ago, SnowRider said:

Funny the conservatives want to make all the choices for us.  The point is the more readily available guns are the more deaths related to them.  It's an obvious correlation between states and between countries.  Why is that? :dunno:

Well you obviously want to choose whether someone lives or not. Look at murders by guns only or its not even worth having an argument with you. Gigantic difference between choosing to end your own life and having someone take another's life you religious wackjob. :snack:

  13. 5 minutes ago, Capt.Storm said:

Chit the carts made Main look ok the way I look at..I'm surprised Ny looks even better.

No doubt, we're one of the safest places in the US, but we better ban all guns so our murders drop from 19 per year to 15.

  14. People have the right to choose their gender, choose which bathroom they use, but not to whether they remain alive or not.

God isnt real and suicide isnt a sin, SnowRider isn't as progressive as I thought. What a RWW. :snack:

  15. You support right to die legislation correct? I do as well, and to me if someone wants to take their own life that's their decision and not mine. So exclude suicides and we're a very safe state. SBYL. :bc:

    Too many guns.

So why is Maine such a safe place violent crime wise with all these Mainers having guns and our new constitutional carry law? :dunno::snack:

  17. 2 hours ago, SnowRider said:

So if legislation is proposed to make them illegal - are any of you clowns gonna support it?

Dude, you realize anyone can Google how to file the bolt of mant semi automatic weapons correctly to make it fire full auto right? :news:

Why is an AR 15 marketed as an Assault rifle if I'm told it's just a good ol fashion rifle from the forum peanut gallery?

Because it makes the play soldiers think they're cool at their local "militia" meetups. A .223 is a very weak round compared to a typical hunting caliber or a shotgun with slugs/buckshot.

Honestly I could GAF less about owning one as I don't target shoot, but I don't suck penis either but I want the people who do to be able to get married if they want. If someone wants to own a plastic gun that isn't anymore deadly than any other rifle that's fine by me too. :bc:
