Who writes stand alone sled insurance these days other than TD?   I am in the process of switching car insurers and I just found out that Economical will not cover my 2018 Pro X 800.   I have been with Unica for the last few years and they are quite cheap for the sled but Economical is over $1500 cheaper for the 3 cars we own and with more coverage.   Unica will not write my sled without the cars.

TD is fine but anything over $15K comes with a $1500 deduct which kind of sucks.

Not many will write stand alone sled insurance. Economical has a restricted list , however if the broker presents a strong case they will write a sled on the list. If your record is clean and you have auto home etc. with them they can write your sled if the broker bothered to push them on it,  I have several sleds insured for clients with Eco that are on the list .Each has a good record and are mature ( age wise lol )

I would question the Eco broker and see if he asked for a concession for the sled.

  2. I am Prime member and order all the time personally and for the office. Amazon's own delivery service in Canada sucks....no matter  how many times you tell them it's a business name and  an office address they attempt to deliver at night . If it's Canada Post no problem.

Havent had PWCs in 15 years and I have the itch to get a couple for the cottage.  Going to order a Spark 3 seater for the kids and a GTR230 for me.

How much are you guys paying for insurance for them these days?

I insure my brother's 2 sparks .Value for one Spark  around $9200 premium was $424 plus 8% tax .

    This may also work, Tim?

I purchased some to help take the scratches/haze off my e-visor on my helmet. I had limited success but I likely didn't do it correctly or took my time like I should have.

I believe my folks purchased it state side as it was difficult to get here at the time but that may have changed now?

You can buy it on Amazon.ca

  6. groomer said no moisture in the snow sleds go straight down to ground . I was  up on the weekend we have about 2 feet in total in Dorset.

They hope to pack 64 to 68 early this week

what also blows my mind is that you can insure boats without them in your name

Don't be so sure about that. We don't usually ask for proof of ownership to issue a policy but when  it comes to making a claim if you are not the registered owner you will have no " insurable interest". The insured has to be the registered owner .

My 26 gal Husky has a hole at the bottom of the  vertical tank.

Does any one know where a replacement tank can be found.

I have a compressor at home in Newmarket you can have. It was left behind by a previous owner who did wood working for a living in the garage. Can't remember the make but it looks decent. PM if interested and I will take some pics.

Anyone notice the "coming soon" signs now a days on house going up for sale....I know I have seen them in the past, but now they are far more common.

Good way to build up the interest, prices and offers I guess in an area that is hot.

    Ya  we noticed that also

  11. we bought a year ago May for $585k in Newmarket.....probably would go for at least $800k-$850K now. House across the street went in a day for $890k.And one ( newer) is up for $1.170k... but I think that's high.
