Its 2016, and you have people who own thousands in snowmobile equipment, go trail riding/stop at places to eat, or go fishing, pick up accessories, items , junk, misc crap but cant pay with a credit card? Of the 80,000 permit buyers you might be 25 users that cant actually do it, but 25,000 will complain. They are trying to get the manipulation and mistakes and paper work away from people who are not paperwork people. There should be no need for trail wardens to have permits, the people should have a permit before they hit the snow.

Also, I have no issue if you receive a new groomer they make you decommission the old ones, lots of clubs would keep trying to maintain the old one as well, which costs money and time for 'something that has been replaced'.
