  1. I sort of agree with him. I rode a Gade X and Gade adrenaline and the X seemed to be clutched better or whatever but it felt quicker. The suspension was also set up a lot better. I guess you can't really judge these pre-production demo units. But the sled didn't blow me away enough to make me trade in my 1200 this year. Gonna prolly save and think another year.

Problem is, not much to choose from out there. I want a 10k+ mile sled between 120-150 hp so there's the 900 turbo and the Viper. I heard there's only 1 Viper model being made this year so next year who knows. That leaves me with the 900 or a 600 2 stroke. Not sure I want to hold my breath again even with a 600. :dunno:

It boggles my mind why Polaris won't get in the 4 stroke game. They'd do so well...

Was it busy? I thought traffic heading north on Rte 3 was fairly light yesterday.  I only meet 14 trailers between North Stratford and Twin Mountain.

Nope, nothing like it was 5 years ago. The weather the last few years and lack of vendors is really killing it. There were a bunch of people that got there early to beat the crowds, and then they left and it was quiet.

They really put a lot of effort into getting the turbo close to the intake. How was throttle response? Could you feel any Turbo lag?

About the same response as my 1200 with throttle by wire. I wouldn't say it had any turbo lag. It's just not as quick revving as the Yamacats.

Overall these new turbos are great. I remember riding my dads T660. That thing had wicked turbo lag.

  4. Nice sled. Not a game changer like some people are expecting but they will sell a lot of them. Feels a little bit lighter than my 1200. It doesn't feel as torquey but I guess thats because it's quieter. Still has a nice snarling sound to it compared to the Prius-like NA 900. Demo course was beat to death and in tight woods so I never got it over 50. I bet that's where it really shines. Even though it's the same suspension as mine, it took the bumps a lot better. Could be the new chassis, could be the shock valving. But I love the seating position of the G4 and I think that had something to do with it.

Im going to get a price on a Gade X but think I'll keep my 1200 1 more year then trade in. :bc:

  5. The GMC looks so stupid compared to the Chevy. Hopefully the regular SLE looks better than the old man chromed up Denali in the pics. I like the Chevy RST and Trail Boss.

And that tailgate is stupid too. The bumper corner steps are perfect, if you have trouble getting in the bed with those and want a ford man step, you probably don't need a truck.

  6. We're supposed to trust Ski-doo's weight numbers? For years they've listed my Gade X 1200 as being 10 lbs lighter than the adrenaline model. There's no way that's possible. Now this year the adrenaline 900 turbo is 2 lbs lighter than the X. Doo's marketing is good but it's mostly BS.

1200 is 23 lbs heavier than the 900ace in the same sled per skidoo, the turbo ACE is 26 lbs heavier than the NA. I hated the heavy front of the 1200 and the plain boring motor, now bouncing back to 8fiddy... they're gonna be here in Maine next week, will have to stop and check em out, wish I could ride a 900 turbo but my dealer isn't getting a demo

I guarantee your opinion would change if you rode a 1200 with ITC. Its not 850 level fun but it's still a blast to ride.

I'm going to the snodeo here next weekend. They're going to have 19's on display and going to have demo's, I just hope that the demo's are 19's. Not counting on it though cuz the French fags do some stupid things. Example- only make 4 strokes with 137" tracks. What a bonehead move.

Time to hook him up with wildboar, they can give each other handies riding their slow ass faggot sleds on the Quebec sled highways.

I don't ride Quebec highways, if I did then I might think about a 200hp turbo. Mostly tight & twisties where I ride. Fastest I've hit on a trail this year I think is 87. :dunno:

My Sidewinder sees nothing but trail duty, and the only sled in front of me is another Sidewinder.

I haven't even seen 100 yet. The fun of 30-90 is just intoxicating.

I think, sir, you are a faggot.

    Exactly! That's why I want a 120-150 hp lightweight 4 stroke. :bc:

  8. To many opinions out there to satisfy everyone. Personally, I wanted a lightweight NA 1000ho Ace with 120-130 hp at around 500lbs or less. Then they could offer a turbo option and you can satisfy the f7bens that like to try to kill themselves driving drunk 120 mph bar to bar or up and down a boring lake all day.

Wonder why they didn't turbo the 1200

Besides not fitting in the G4, probably not a lot of interest. It'd weigh a ton and get about 7 mpg.

I wonder if Poolarious will even come out with a 4 stroke.

I've given up hope. I'd give it a serious look if they did. I love the axys chassis except for the earth shaking 800 contraption sitting in it.

Are they dumping the 1200 and boosting the 900? If so it could not get any lamer. Fuck you skidoo

Turbo 900 Ace.   If this is true what a stupid move.

:lol:You guys are nuts. If true and it's in the G4, they will sell like hot cakes. Most people have no need for 200hp for trail riding and going back and forth on a lake all day is boring. I would've been fine with 120-140 hp to make it better on fuel, but it still should be better than my 13 mpg pig 1200. Faster, lighter, and a better chassis. Win-win-win-win. :bc:

Gotta admit that was a Ballzy call!!!

Smart but not really that ballsy. Even if they don't get the TD, pats get the ball on the 2 and would be forced to take a knee, Eagles still have a 3 point lead. Kick a FG and pats have time and field position to score and take the lead.

  12. With the extreme cold and jet stream so low it looks like the storms will dump on the cities on the coast. Why can't we have a winter with consistent, average temps for once?

Don't know what you mean. My ram with the hemi and 8 speed was better in every way than the gm and ford competing models in 2015. Better fuel economy and I have auto 4wd....

Rams have always been fuel drinkers and my friends with them say the new ones are no different. And Auto was only available on the fancy trims when I looked.

That is pretty sharp and made in Murica! Winning! :bc:

I like the look of it but I like the made in Murica GM's more. :bc: Almost went with a Ram last time I bought, but fuel economy and lack of Auto 4wd steered me away in the end.
