Maybe try reputable news sources instead of green propoganda sites.
There are some issues with loopholes in bankruptcy laws, but in general, there is a system in place to oversee that wells are remediated by the oil companies. Plus there is also the industry funded Orphan Well Association as a back stop.
Quote"Industry funds the majority of the costs incurred by the OWA through an Orphan Fund Levy. The AER assesses and collects a levy amount based on the deemed abandonment and reclamation liabilities held by each company and then remits the collected funds to the OWA."

Weren't you on a Yamaha vector or some such thing because of it's reliability, then to a Cat now a first year motor from Polaris?
You are really throwing it out there now...

Is that crooked? Or just me?
No, it's a little cock-eyed still. It twisted pretty close to straight after I bolted it back on. My OCD wanted to go buy a new one but my cheap bastard won out after I priced it out at $250. Maybe I'll get a new one next fall after I have forgot about what I spent on all the other parts.

Leaks fumes. sets off the check engine light . I have it on a 2011 f-150 and 2012 escape.Couldnt get a inspection sticker on the escape yesterday . Cleaned it up some , hoping to have the wife drive it for a week or so and try then. f 150 does the same thing. That one I was smart enough to clear the code and drive it before I went for a sticker.
Are you on dirt or gravel all the time? Haven't see that problem come up with any of our fleet, yet. You did remind me I need to go pick up a new gas cap for my wife's Caravan though.

The single piston ring design gave skeedoo all kinds of issues early on. They call the new crank lightweight, but I read it was 3 lbs heavier than the 800HO. Not saying that's a bad thing, but there is a lot of marketing jargon going on in the articles. I hope it's a ripper because it would likely be the next motor I buy, but I'd be nervous jumping on that ship first year. Extended warranty is fine but it doesn't help if the thing gives you problems all the time.

Its more than just financials when you don't want to make your own chassis. Its a lack of desire to be a top player in the industry. Don't get me wrong I love my Sidewinder...maybe even my favorite sled I've ever owned but I'd love for Yammie to jump back in the snow drift and compete on their own.
If you ask me the fact that Yam/Cat are so in bed together is just an admission they can't compete with the big dogs.
They simply don't have the desire to. Yamaha bean counters know how small the sled market is and don't see an acceptable return on investment. I was a Yammie guy through and through and I hate it, but that is the way it is. This lineup is just their next step in exiting the industry.

as some one who works out of his truck every day . I can tell you that pie of shit would not last a yr .
I am on my second tailgate on my f150 . crazy they glue the shit together cant take real heavy loads any more they crush down then start to separate.
every new truck I get first thing I do is buy a junk yard tailgate to use.
that GM deal looks nice for the business man who likes to butch it up from time to time and head over to home depot for a nice little Saturday
All that tailgate mechanism is going to get filled with dirt after the first time you drive it down a gravel road. Probably makes the tailgate weigh 500 lbs too.
I doubt very many Denali's ever make it off the pavement, never mind a work site, so it probably doesn't matter.

I think the biggest problem from the "oil cap vent" is people overfilling the reseviours. My PC had the top level a good bit down from the cap. Never filled it past that...never had a problem.
People have a tendancy to top everything off to the point of running over. Cap venting only works if the vents aren't filled with oil.
Pre-mix FTW!!!!
Lots of sleds are on their side or upside down on a regular basis. I put a skee-dooo oil cap on my Pro because it has a better vent design that doesn't get bunged up with oil.

Polaris has sold a redonkulous number of mountain sleds since they introduced the Pro in 2011. Shitty motors and all. The old 800 has been fairly decent after 2013 - 14. The newest version has been even better.

are you sure you need the school?they are just going to toss you on a packer for a yr any way . i did heavy equpment in the late 80 s dod it 2 summers and i was well past over it . we were building dumps
It's not the 80's any more. Any company or more than a handful people have to operate with a safety program that require operators to have certification to operate whatever piece of equipment they are on.
Looks Like Yamaha is releasing it's own sleds next year

Wut? Are you saying the 998T's are being manufactured by Arcto?
