Temps won't go below 0 until Feb 27. Unbelievable winter, so much snow here yet so much warm temps and rain. Always next year to ride the sleds I guess (but then that's what I said last year). Boered Posted February 15, 2017 Share Posted February 15, 2017 Local trails finally opened here. Went for ride, butter soft, plus 5. Might last till family day, but I doubt it, PLUS 9 on Sat and Sunday with plus 4 leading into the weekend should have them toasted. Be surprised if they open again. Skiing is my new focus, reliable season every year. Going to get out of sledding in the next few years. Just not worth it now down south. Snow banks are almost covering the speed limit signs in horseshoe valley. Streamer should sit on us for the next 24 hrs or so. Wish I could take a sick of work day thurs or Friday.
