Smoke flavor is night and day different compared to my gmg pellet grill. It nice you can layer wood chunks in with the charcoal in the hopper. Lighting it, I've been using the master built fire starters they released a while back. Let it burn for a few minutes then close it up, set the temp.

And remember to pull the slides! Done that a few times wondering why it wouldn't come to temp... :lol:

 

@f7ben Be sure to check them over good when you get them. Seen lots of these grills arriving damaged. Mine had a small dent in the back, mainly cosmetic, but I got a $75 gift card out of it.

I’m thinking I got scammed ....out of what I don’t know but the ad that I didn’t look carefully at on eBay is clearly a scam. Price was retarded cheap and I was on my eBay app which I’m not used to looking at. I used PayPal credit so I’m not out anything. Oh well....I’ll keep looking

Excellent! More of Mike's sauce and rubs arrived this week. I'm going to try the new Honey rub this weekend.

The pellet smoker is still working fine after last week's bear attack, lol.

Small brisket with UTZ Prime for the rub. Do you guys sauce your brisket toward the end?

I was going to wrap it, but I didn't get to it and the temp is already closing in on 180. What temp do you pull it? 190?

Bear attack? Hopefully it wasn't loaded with ribs at the time lol...:lol:

It was on it's back laying on the ground when we went out one morning last week. You could see the bears muddy prints on the lid, lol

 

Kabobs look great BTW  :bc:
