Currently mostly cloudy and 54⁰ on this first day of meteorological fall. In four short weeks we will be Peak Fall Foliage in northern Now England. I have a feeling it might even be a little earlier around here this year.

Looks to be warm in the 80s here for the next few weeks. Still really need some rain.

We've got a little rain from the passing fronts, but need more. I think the drought is going to push the fall colors up a bit this year.

It was a bit chilly here last night and it dropped down to 37 F or 3 C

We've had low 40s the last two mornings. Tonight is supposed to be the coldest night before temps moderate. I wouldn't be surprised if the normal colder hollows get a frost tomorrow morning. I'm located between two bodies of water that keep me a little warmer until the lakes and ponds freeze.

Had some visitors outback. Been seeing them quite often in the morning lately.

We have tons of Turkeys around here. They frequent the ground beneath the bird feeders in the winter.

We didn't get the brunt of Fiona where we are in Nova Scotia. We secured everything on our lot and stayed at our rental the past couple nights. We stopped at our lot today and basically a few little twigs and leaves so we're staying in the motorhome and run the Onan as needed. The area has no power so might as well be comfy.

A buddy coming here in an older motorhome wasn't so lucky. He was going to arrive here on Sat and I told him to take his time and he said he'll show up on Mon. Somewhere in New Brunswick the wind tore off most of the roof of his coach. Knowing him he'll drive it here anyways lol
