Medical records indicated she verbalized concern about becoming addicted to benzodiazepines. Addicts don’t do that.

The frequency and quantity of her benzo use doesn’t indicate addiction. Blood tests also indicate she was skipping doses. Benzo addicts don’t skip doses.

Doctor shopping for benzodiazepines is a symptom relegated to someone selling the drug for profit or caught up into the throws of a physical addiction. She shows no signs of either.
