    I wouldnโ€™t bet against Elon Musk. I still think itโ€™s a good long-term hold.

Probably a good buying opportunity. I'm glad I don't make those types of decisions anymore.

Doesnโ€™t the lock out period end at the end of this month and the amount unlocked is double the ipo offering. Iโ€™ll pass but I watch it.

Starlink sold me on the premise of buying as I installed it at the cottage this summer, most of the neighbors up there where Internet/cable isn't an option have it and I have local friends here in town who are or have ditched Spectrum for it.

Starlink has surpassed 12 million active subscribers globally, operating across more than 160 countries. This marks an acceleration from the 8.9 million users recorded at the end of 2025, largely driven by rapid international expansion and strong growth in both emerging markets like Brazil and mature markets like the U.S.

The recent subscriber growth trajectory highlights Starlink's expanding reach:End of 2023: 2.3 million subscribers

End of 2024: 4.4 million subscribers

End of 2025: 8.9 million subscribers

Q1 2026: 10.3 million subscribers

June 2026: 12 million active subscribers

so... I have a limit order placed for a small batch of shares good for 60 days as of an hour ago. we'll see if it fills or kills.

Shoulda waited. I might buy in if it gets really cheap probably not though I have way to much tied up in another long term big gamble.

Iโ€™ve made some good scores on MU, NVDA, AVGO, etc, but right now itโ€™s hard to find stocks that I have much conviction for shooting to moon in the next year, like those ones did in the last year or two.

Nice, I did really good on mu and amd last couple years. Still own a good chunk of AMD but sold off all my mu for almost 10x. The only thing Iโ€™ve bought this year other than index funds is just adding to my aur position. Iโ€™ve been waiting for a good crash but it doesnโ€™t seem to want to come.

why?

there's almost always a post IPO pop and drop... plus insiders will be able to start unloading eventually. wasn't the IPO price $135?

I detest buying anything at market highs, but I do make monthly purchases of a few tickers to cost average on long term holds and hold those shares a minimum of a year for lower cap gain taxes. when big dips or corrections happen I load up heavy with 3X with a minimum 12 month goal.

I do everything in my Roth and Ira so I donโ€™t have to worry about tax stuff right now is it the right way idk and idc. I usually hold anything I'm putting a lot into but I do like scalping some of the hype crap for a few bucks when I have free time to watch it closely. My plans do a sepp when I feel Iโ€™m at a comfortable amount to tell my boss fuck off I'm outta here.

I manage two of my 401k's rolled from previous employers, have two others I don't touch and manage a trading account I make additionl annual income from. I quit my 'real job' last October (with a go fuck yourself) and work two days a week now to keep myself sorta busy and be more involved in the investment properties... plus more time for family, fishing, sledding and irritating people here. lmao

there's no better freedom than financial freedom...

This looks it's approaching a scoop up phase. If I were buying, I'd be looking at around the 110 mark for sure.
