It is a major reason you clown.

Taxation Challenges: If the Bears' proposed Arlington Heights site is taxed at Cook County's standard commercial rates, the annual tax bill would be between $100 million and $200 million, rendering the project financially unviable

We are talking about the Johnsonville plant, not the Bears....we will take your goal post punt to mean you don't believe it was the cause for it.

Defending what is clearly a disaster right now (Chicago) is a weird move. But, "safe and effective" showed us many things.

Derr. No one is defending Chicago they are pointing out the false conclusions. Think.

You and I don't se things the same. And never will. And I'm proud and thankful for that.

  1. Stadium limitations at Soldier Field: The current venue is outdated for an NFL team seeking a world-class facility with better amenities, luxury suites, and economic potential. Renovation or staying there long-term wasn't viable.

  2. Failed negotiations in Illinois: Deals for a new stadium in Arlington Heights or within Chicago didn't materialize. Illinois lawmakers didn't provide the necessary public funding or tax incentives during the spring 2026 legislative session.

  3. Better deal in Indiana: Indiana passed legislation (e.g., Senate Bill 27) creating a stadium authority and offering tax incentives/local funding support for a new dome in Hammond. This contrasts with the lack of progress in Illinois.

And snake here defending the non-maga position even though it's off topic. Nice work

no more than all that I've already posted you mean?

we all know you'll keep up this lame deflection even if I produce an email from him to the head of the factory threatening to kill their families if they don't shut down

Did you hit your head recently or something? This isn't hard dude. Is that all you're hanging your hat on, the possible reasons a fucking sausage factory closed? Not like he didn't present evidence of the shit ass tax and regulatory environment. Maybe if it was better, they would have renovated the factory.

It has more to do with Devilcrat policies in general and Crook County, Illinois is a front runner in that idiocy. Example, the fucking Bears have been in Chicago forever and the Devilcrats are trying to ass fuck them with excessive taxation. Way to go retarded Devilcrats of Crook County!

so there's no direct link to Pritzker being the reason Johnsonville closed a 64 year old sausage factory... but 'i can't see the picture clearly'... Hilariouslol

The only thing hilarious is how incredibly stupid you have to be to believe that Pritzker increasing taxes and anti business policies, played no role in them deciding to spend the money to close and demo the plant, instead of keeping it open or even upgrading it.

Although grasping at straws begging for a higher standard of proof than any of your threads have ever had, is pretty funny.

take Pritzker out of your partisan melon for just a moment and put your business man hat on for second... does the math work out to upgrade and modernize a 64 year old plant with less than 300 employees or split the production of an existing product off to two newer existing modernized plants 200 miles away, in the state your corporate headquarters were founded and remain in... if you ran the business? what incentives are there to keep the place open and running?

but of course for some it's easier to go along with the blame the schmuck in the high tax rate state narrative because it fits within your narrow political field of vision... derr.

Company to close three Illinois power plants in coming years

'The company cited economic, environmental and regulatory factors as the cause of the plant closures and permanent layoffs.

https://finance.yahoo.com/sectors/energy/articles/company-close-three-illinois-power-082338987.html

here on the other hand is a clear and bold statement of reasons for closing a plant, three of them in fact.

but a 64 year old sausage factory closing and relocating production... has to be PRITZKER!!! crazy

lol

regulatory factors

owned

On top of that economic factors can be local government, and environmental factors are absolutely created by local government

Thanks for proving my point though

Boeing plaza became a ghost town when the pandemic struck. Workers went remote and the plaza never recovered, eventually going up for sale at a fire sale price. Workers had moved on and there was no reason for Chicago to extend the tax incentives to keep Boeing in Chicago given the small amount they were contributing to the local economy. None of Boeings mfg occurred in Chicago. They won’t be missed.

Holy fucking brainwashed. We get it, Pritzker is a pos. That doesn't mean EVERYTHING that happens business wise is due to him. Maga and facts don't mix.

Since you're ignoring all the evidence, another reason could be that it was hit by an asteroid,

Once a corporation becomes a burden on a state with their low wages and no benefits to their employees they leave for a cheaper state and do it again. Corporate America relies on the taxpayer to fund their labor….you know those employees who have to rely on social services and those bastardly states that have to raise their taxes making it a excuse to leave.
