Actually, karmelo did have a legit justification defense, and it could have gone the other way. As far I know, karmelo wasn't doing anything illegal when austin initiated physical contact and I think karmelos back pack grabbed, which is attempted robbery and most jurisdictions allow deadly force against any robbery. I'm not sure about where this happened but around here they have metal detectors, handheld and walk thru detectors and either security guards or local police conducting the checks.
