We now have Starlink at the cottage. Sis, wife and daughter finally got their way and are thrilled. I don't give a f@ck as I'm almost always in the woods, on the lake or doing projects.

Gotta say though, it works excellent and was an easy install. Loading pictures even to here is quick . Just need to go caulk a hole where I brought it into the house from the antenna 📡

Starlink is great, just cancelled mine at cottage as I switched to fibre 500 meg service.

I was getting mauled by mosquitoes and no seeums-bity bugs while dialing in the signal and mounting the receiver... so when I was done we took the dog for a boat ride around the lake. he absolutely cannot stay in one place or position underway, but puppy yet.

Blackflies are brutal up here, and yes, dog is a beauty!

I got a mini for when I'm on the road, it's been pretty nice so far!

wife and I went out on the fishing dock after dinner to catch some bluegill... we didn't last five minutes before a cloud of mosquitoes honed in on us. now we're all relaxing on the screen porch watching the sunset. during the day we always have a nice breeze or wind as we're on the east side so the bugs aren't too much of an issue. for the one's who do get inside... the electric tennis racket bbq it is.

if you zoom in you can see the screen and a flock of mosquitoes 🦟 on it dying to get inside . pretty soon the bats from our three bat houses and the bat nursery (in the picture) will come out for the buffet.

correct, this will be the third Goldador (Golden Retriever/Yellow Lab) mix we've had over thirty years. smart, well tempered, high energy and generally great dogs... also used regularly as service dogs.
