For your simple mind I'll spell it out. For the sake of argument gas has gone up $1.90 where I live so I'll round it up to $2.00.

I was paying $2.80 a gallon before the war so to be fair I'll round that one up to 3.00.

$250 divided by a $2 difference is 125 gallons a month. Multiply that by the original $3.00 a gallon and you get $375 a month.

Now, what difference does that make that you had to know?

I’m on the road ALOT for work everyday…going to different job sites, dropping off materials…ect…and these fuel prices are bullshit.

Gas is up 40%...so some super easy math. $250/40% = $625 was the previous spend. 200gal/mo or at 20mpg 4000 mi/mo or 48k per year. National average per is 15k meaning between the two of them they drive an extra 18k a year which is not a whole lot extra for someone who drives everywhere.

To dumb it down for moron, let's say he didn't drive anymore than the average then the monthly spend extra would be $175 for them. This is the AVERAGE increase per family of two....yet racer is celebrating the promise ignored. Perhaps if he could do 3rd grade math he'd wake up.
