She is a real badass chick and has raced snox, XC, and hillclimbs. She at one time was an engineer at Cat, like real deal engineer, but I'm not sure if she is still there or on contract or what. Hav

Rumor is they are now coming with bargain bin Custom Axis shocks. The new slogan is, “if they’re good enough for Todd Palin, they’re good enough for you”.

Rumor is that later in the week Cat will be releasing…. Nothing new. Just BNG but with more purple and orange.

Ski-doo will have a new chassis, two new motors and more new technology. They will start off 2027 with 70% market share.

I wonder if cat brings a new trail skid. Brad Darling mentioned a new rear skid recently in the context of talking about working on new things. I doubt he'd say that if they aren't working on it but it might not be ready this year. I heard probably no turbo. It looks like a mountain sled under the blanket in their marketing photos for the release.

I think it'd be cool if they do another throwback model with some special features or options, like they did with the EXT. But do it with a different model from a different era every year. Like what if they made a cheap catalyst trail sled with no e start, 1" track, blast controls but in the catalyst chassis, call it a JAG and have it be cheaper.

I'm guessing not yet on the skid, they probably need a mountain turbo and I'll go retro theme for the mountain boys with... 'powder special'

cuz the 'EXT' wasn't a triple either...

efit: I don't think there's any reason they can't put the one lung in the Catalyst chassis???

New 600 rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr with 130 hp. Nice to see they finally caught up to the cat 600 in hp. I guess they R not interested in competing with poo in the 650 class.

Interesting. You said they'd be out of business before now and bet on it. When are you paying that bet?

Doo really hit it out of the park with the 20th anniversary XRS that looks nothing like the 07 XRS and simply looks like a Gen 5 tnt base model

Sounds like Polaris is looking out for their shareholders through 2028 with this “golden ticket program” allows them to move $1000 from every sale this year into next years books just in case.

They put a 121 inch tunnel on a summit now.

In their defense the cat consistently makes about 125 on the dyno and the 600r makes like 118-119. The original 600 etec ran wayyyy stronger than the 600r

I heard a snowest podcast with ibex guys and they sounded confident when they said a cat turbo is a ways off. They said car brass mentioned there is aftermarket options if people want a turbo. I could see them doing a powder special, a pearl white catalyst could be sick

the only actual highlight I saw was brp's heated brake lever. where's that been the past twenty years? dunno

I didn't bother trying to go into the configurators yet to see the BNG's. the Bee themed Doo's, gmafb. make a 600 & 850 special 129" version with all the best bits and pieces on it, nail the graphics and colors and call it a day. being offered on six different models and doing the scheme so poorly does not make it a special or collectable sled.

FAIL thumbdown

Idk about the M’s but have your dealer plug into a riot and see what comes up

Ski doo has been really good at swapping panels/colors to different “packages” and keeping the same 3 or 4 small decals since the gen 5 came out. You’d think they should be out of leftovers now and they’d be able to switch it up a little

@Not greg b ... what did your dad pay for your leftover XCR?

looks like you actually stole it after seeing the 2027 pricing...

off topic... but starting last year there's no more 2.52P on new 'consumer' trail sleds. talking with a Polaris rep last year he told me Camso isn't interested in making 128/129 and 136/137 tracks any longer... which is interesting because the 2.86P weigh less, use less rubber but Camso charges about the same price. just more profits for the corporate overlords I guess... dunno

soooo... the Doo 600 XRS Comp is $16k+ and the Lynx 600 is $19k+ on the hang tag which seems similar to last year. Polaris obviously jacked their prices. is this an opportunity for Cat to be the value leader, or won't it matter because BRP and Polaris have stolen so much market share from them over the past decade and folks will just pay whatever for the shiny new Doo's and Poo's?

and seriously BRP... a fucking number plate, just how gay is that without being a 7C or TH68 limited edition?

Hey they added a chrome bee in the grill to you know how much thought that took to brew up. They seriously missed the mark on that thing it coulda been so cool looking.
