Sounds like they don’t adjust the suspension at all out of the crate. I will end up re springing my xcr next season if I keep it as it will need shocks rebuilt, springs, clutch rebuilt. I will have close to 3k on it this week

idk who sets up or adjusts their sleds, but one would hope they're capable of fine tuning them on their own after all these years?

I am guessing they are lazy and ride them out of the box and call it day. Everything they say to do to make a 2025 xcr “stiffer” which actually won’t, they won’t do to make a 2026 “softer”. The ride height thing, get a tape measure out and set it where it needs to be. The ski thing on the lynx put the skidoo skis on it and see if that helps. Takes 5 minutes. Cat obviously told them to pound sand as a 858 of any variation has been in stock at a dealer since before it started snowing.

Cat didn’t want to get exposed for how shitty their sled compares to the competition. When you’re bottom of the barrel you try and hide that from future buyers. news

I will agree with you on this. I road 800 miles last week and saw 3 catalyst. The weekend before that was super busy too and we saw maybe 6 catalyst. People aren’t buying them. Saw tons of new thunder cats and old procross sleds and everything else the other brands sell.

I think that for Cat it’s going to take several seasons to build back the brand and try and win back customers. Unfortunately, I don’t know if they have the time? Looks like both Doo and Polaris are coming out with something new. Both brands are behind pasts schedules on releasing a new chassis so it’s time. If that happens this year the Catalyst will already be dated. Pretty hard to build excitement and new sales with a dated sled, piss poor financing rates, an unbalanced line up and tiny dealer network.

They are even doing poorly in racing with the new sled. Not that anyone cares anymore about racing but it’s something Cat cares about and that outdated focus will not help their sales and marketing. They need to forget about racing and focus on getting big name ambassadors and influencers riding their sleds and promoting them on social media. That’s a much more effective means of advertising from both a financial and exposure point of view. While I’m not a fan of it, that’s the world we live in today. The ‘26 Polaris sleds were presented by their two main influencers last spring, not racers.

You already bet they would be out of business once, lost and welched. Sounds like once you pay you are setting yourself up to lose the bet again.

Well before Christmas the local cat dealer sold through their entire order of 26s, and the 2 truck loads of leftovers they bought from textrons getting out of the sled business sale.

Factory only had M sleds left

Been seeing a lot of newer procross, thunder cats and srx. The catalyst has been non existent around here. I did see 3 catalyst today and that was more than most of this season.

And you are the word? You wrecked your sled. Blamed Cat for it. Did not use the insurance your dad paid for. You are more stupid than kROMMER AND CR-way too many letters too care.

Btw my pos Polaris is still running and hasn’t broke 5200 dollars worth of parts yet. It has gone more miles than the superior catalyst I have. The catalyst is also so great the Lester’s didn’t bother to review it. They did last season

maybe Greg's not seeing them and Snow Trax didn't include one because they're throwing codes and in limp mode at a dealership trying to get fixed?

Arctic Cat didn't give snow Trax a snowmobile to test. Who are you guys trying to kid? Like there would be any other reason for them to not have one. Some people will look for any reason I swear SMH.

Snow Trax is now above AC so much that they won't include them on their paid reviews yeah ok guys.

Lol, ok green Kool aid. They don't have a sled in the class which is why it wasn't included.

I see a lot for sale. Not that I have traveled much to ride the last few years, but I haven't met one on the trail yet either.

No it's because it's broken down or they fear it will break down.
