  • He said that was from yesterday. Here is today's.

  • I think you're thinking this is brand specific - its not and I don't claim that at all. I know for a fact every Polaris snocross race sled gets extra frame gussets done if its not rox its a gusset/bra

The true test of XC racing is the Iron Dog. No Catalyst sleds have ever survived it.

Difference is they are factory racers, not daddy buys my shit, spoiled rich kid, and they rebuild after every weekend. They can't get insurance. Dipshit Greg could have, or was too lazy to turn it in. Pure dumbfuck!

Says the guy who crashed his sled going 15 mph and fucked it up

How many Cats will be left in Pro?

will be interesting to see the difference terrain racing vs riding on ice where the Poo has a clear top end advantage. who's the fastest terrain racer on the red team right now? AC10 done? dunno

hopefully Cat has the Lyst fixed this year cuz if they're not Herf will probably destroy them if/when they hit the ditches.

edit: Team Arctic Pro class riders include Matt Feil, Jesse Hallstrom, Zach Herfindahl and Ben Langaas, plus Gabby Hallstrom, Rachel Wimpfheimer and Frankie Omang in Pro Women’s. Look for them to be particularly competitive when the going gets rough.

In the Semi-Pro division on the Cor circuit, returning riders Kegan Houser, Derek Kloety, Austin Kody and Brady Wadena will be joined by last year’s Sport Stock champion Elliot Clark and Sport Stock third-place rider Braden Sillerud. Returning Team Arctic racer Marcus Moldashal will compete in the new Semi-Pro Improved class. Team Arctic Sport class rider Kyle Quesenberry will be joined by former Juniors class riders like Trig Anderson, Rielly Clark, Brady Wimpfheimer and Axle Amsdon. Look for Braden Diesen moving up to Juniors and Expert classes and Kynsie Diesen returning as a force in Jr Boys and Girls classes. Masters class champ Todd Seaverson and multi-class racer Jon Arneson are also back for another season.

Cross-country racing isn’t exclusive to the Upper Midwest – and neither is Team Arctic. In the Northeast, look up front this winter to find the Arctic Cat ZR 600 R-XC sleds of Pro class riders TJ Leach, Adam Levi, Ken Murphy, Ian Smith, Brock Young and Michael Young leading the way.

In fact, you’ll see supported Team Arctic racers tackling the terrain on circuits from Quebec and eastern Canada all the way to the rugged Alaskan outback, including the team of Wyatt Halek-Hooper and Adam Stafford in the Iron Dog Pro class. Some Team Arctic cross-country stars will also contend in enduro and oval sprint races at the sport’s biggest events this season.

last time I checked insurance doesn’t pay for water pumps, clutches, bearings and other crap that broke. Sponsored racer = using some rich person’s money not their own like I do.

Discounted parts and if PG&A budget is there, that too. I know the discounts on parts haven't been as good as they used to be and I think a lot or all of the PG&A stuff has been cut.

oh dear lord... someone rode their brand new Arctic Cat aggressively and some cheap shit low quality parts broke. cry

this was a manufacturer problem, plain and simple. Country Cat basically tells you it's a piece of shit right on their website. lol

If you or any of the guys you ride with (was going to say friends, but you're such an asshole I doubt anyone would admit to being your friend) could ride at all, you would know that it was a manufactures defect, not abuse.

Hell buddy of mine had the cross shaft blow out of his rxc in the first 100 miles, on tug hill, same exact problem they've been having since '12 on the procross (shocking since the shaft is the same part number), hell they even sell a repair kit for the issue, and pre-textron they would warranty replacing the tunnel when it happened.
The shop would go through at least 25 of those shafts a season, and far, far more of the lower shock cross shaft that goes between the rails.

Another big shock is that they've finally done somthing about it, the 26 rxc comes with a steel shaft, and reinforcemnts in the tunnel

We'd bolt that "repair kit" on right off the rip before putting a single mile on the sleds. I'm certain it saved a lot of racers a bunch of tunnels over the years.

Only an asshole too idiots like Greg and you. Plenty of riding buddies. Even a couple of off brand Polaris and a Doo. Otherwise, FUCK OFF!

Maybe I should head up to Norman County over New Years and hope to avoid being murdered or sold some Fent.

100 miles and no murder or Fent would be a success.

Man from reading the experts here I don't know how these racers make it a single mile if trails riders destroy the horribly designed parts every time they go out. Crazy. These trail guys must ride harder than the racers.

Me too. I must be the only one that actually rides their sled so it actually brakes down. Pushing 600 miles for the season. Will probably ride more by new years than most people do in a year. Road 179 today while you guys worried about me abusing a pos object and being foolish riding this early because the mid west gets no snow.

No, I donated my 3rd testicle to someone in need.

Your body must have rejected all that testosterone.

Went down in the swamps today. They are froze up pretty good now. Rough as hell but solid. I had to go through one water hole that was maybe 2ft long so I probably ruined my sled

So you aren’t coming to my birthday party? My mom sent you the invitation last week.

The new update kit (25 non ES and 25 all RXCs come with it) actually has big plates inside the tunnel too. It’s a good easy job on my 24 since I have to pull everything apart to do driveline bearings anyhow.
