the first southbound SP exit

I'm heading north now...

I was at the start of a major pile on I39 just north of stevens point a few years back. I39 takes a ridiculous curve in that area and it can be pure ice. I was in the southbound lane. It all started when a mini cooper and suburban went flying past me. Both lost control. I weaved in between the two and watched a shit show unfold in my rear view mirror. It involved something like 100 vehicles and 20 some injuries. Pure mayhem. lol

Right at the curves @spin_dry was referring to… 2nd Street bridge at Business 51 exit. Little woman said a few people at work mentioned it after I saw this.

You all suck at driving, summer, winter, don't matter when.

I'm clearly the best driver in the US, period.

yup... saw 100 yards of splinters from the posts on the inside of the curve on my way back north.

also, and @spin_dry ... probably doesn't help they've increased the speed limit to 70mph, don't maintain the road, and people who have mostly bald 'all season' tires (which is the biggest joke in automotive history) and are on their fucking phones rather than focusing on driving. I saw 8 cars in the ditch on my short 114 mile ride this morning... and the roads weren't even snow covered or icy, just shitty drivers or shitty tires. I honestly wish they'd mandate * winter * tires in the US snowbelt like Canada but morons here would cry their fucking eyes out if they were told they had to make their vehicles safer for themselves and others because freedumb... and I can go on for hours on this topic.

Put these on the Accord for the little woman…

She avoids 39 like the plague.

Well, one of us would have a 325hp autoshift, and it wouldn't be me.

So yes, even in a Norman County beet truck race I am still the best driver.

Ha, I run Nokian Hakkapeliittas on the S8+. Most sure footed car I've ever driven.

KO3’s on the Transit. Good in snow, mud, or sand. During snowstorms I find a rest area, cook up a grilled cheese, watch some TV, and nap.

nearly any winter or 3peak tire out there stops and turns better on ice/snow/slush than an 'all season' does. the same all season people have in Florida and California is supposed to be an all season here...? lmao

they're 3peak... great tire and much better wearing than the ko2 was.

traction is one thing, stopping and turning another.

You’d think with all this driver assistance crap in cars these days people wouldn’t crash so much nope busier than ever in the collision industry…job security I guess.

I actually preferred the Hankook Dynapro AT2 for all around performance. They are $50 cheaper per tire. The KO3 looks better.
