Been a rough few weeks and past 19 months. Lost my oldest brother (3 years older) to a heart attack. My family is extremely close so this has been tough. His wife passed in March of 2024 from cancer and our mom in June of 2024. Our concentration is on his 3 kids which are from 27-23.....adults but losing both so close is heart wrenching and life challenging to say the least. Probably won't be in much for a while. At the time being daily events and politics seem pretty trivial.

Wow....just brutal. All the best too you. Hang in there. All this nonsense on here is meaningless.... especially when it comes to family issues. God Bless.

sorry to hear this man... take care of yourself

Sorry to hear Highmark. Sadly it occurs too much as we all get older but it’s still hard to deal with. Stay strong.

Really sorry to hear this. Life is precious. Stay strong and God Bless.

Oh man ... sorry to hear about your family's tough go and for your nephews/nieces & what they're going through. I don't think anyone here could/would blame you for taking a break to focus on what's really important. As difficult as it may be, stay positive for the kids and be there for each other.

Sorry to hear man

Arguing about politics on the internet with people who will never change their mind is always the biggest waste of life.

Sorry for your family issues, that's always so difficult and sad.

Hope you and yours can get through it. Christmas can be especially tough in troubled times.

Godspeed.

That's awful. No one should have to go through that. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear - family is most important, take care of them first!

That’s a lot, bro. Difficult loses. Especially having to watch the kids go through the pain too. You disappear from this place on the weekends. That told me family is your core.

Keep your head up and know you are doing the right thing. Nothing in here matters when it comes to family.

You do what you need to do and be thankful that your family is very close. Some families that go thru one death let a lone several deaths in a short time end up falling apart over the losses and don't talk to each other or fight over who gets what from the people who have passed.

As for this site..... Come back in a year or two and it will still be the same shit different day. Just change the politicians names and which side of the aisle they represent and who's shaking their pom poms and who's shaking pitch folks and spears........ lolz

Have a good Christmas & Hopefully a Happier New Year........ beer_cheers
