FFS - I can’t wait to see the names of those charged, any guesses on who is behind this? I have mine. I’ll hold it for now.

This state blew an $18B surplus, it’s no wonder!! Absolutely no oversight what so ever on hand outs of this proportion is nothing short of criminal.

So many dumb choices with money. You'd think it would wake those up that are sleeping but it didn't.

Whoever runs against him in MN next needs to stick to a clear, concise message of overseeing massive fraud, extreme spending increases, and skirting responsibility at every chance.

I do not think the Republican party in this state is capable of putting that candidate forward.

Whoever the GOP puts up will certainly get hung up on wedge issues such as abortion, vaccines, Trump, etc.

And if they aren't hung up on them with an ax to grind, the DFL will make sure to deflect to their choice wedge issues at every chance they get.

I saw something come across my phone today saying Jensen is running again. Personally, I liked the idea of him running but he just couldn't cut it & made the impossible ... possible. He made Walz look normal, which is just gross.

I hope, if Jensen runs again, he's better prepared this time around. But, I feel this state has gone so far to the left, it's never coming back so we're screwed with Walz or whoever he backs in 2026.

The DFL, the Super-PAC's, and the media in this state will run things Jensen said 4-8+ years ago so far up the flag pole that he'll never recover while completely ignoring things Walz has said and done.

The last election is a prime example of it. Walz faced 0 accountability from the media in this state.

It's nuts really. Fucking scary. You'd expect any intelligence to hit a monstrous reset button...hope it comes soon

I really don't think it matters who runs. The state politics are dominated by suburban wine Moms who will vote one way every time without having or needing any further information, about anything. To vote any other way, to them would be sacrilege.

I think that hope is akin to Obama making racial relations better. Not gonna happen.

Another WIN for the Walz admin - talk about incompetence. No wonder they needed all that surplus…

The story goes on to say how much they’ve recovered from the $250M Feeding Our Future fraud case - any guesses??

$60M - I’ll bet the Somali’s look at that as a win as well!

Yet when DOGE was talking about it people fought it left and right. Even the stuff they may have believed they cried about Trump not cutting spending "with a scalpel."

He cut to shock people not to make a difference. Had to keep up with the lies our fearless leader was propagating.

I'd guess that a large percentage of the Somali groups getting caught up in the fraud schemes are may not naturalized citizens of the US.

If that is the case and they are found guilty and immigrated after the age of 18, they pay their debt to society (fines, prison time, etc) and upon release, are booted out of the country.

I'd consider being in favor of this for more crimes involving immigrates. We give you a chance and you screw us, off you go.

Not certain I'd be in favor of it wholesale because it is a passing thought, but it could be a way to deal with shit like this.

And after you get the boot, you get monitored and assets frozen confiscated overseas as part of your debt to society, if applicable.

Another thing - a lot of these appear to be state agencies and/or administered by state agencies.

Time to start terminating employees and prosecuting them too. Guess what, you might lose that golden parachute pension and benefits plan you have going for your retirement.

It is unacceptable to have this level of incompetence repeatedly losing taxpayer's money. Criminally unacceptable.

Too bad none of it will matter. MN voters don't care. They've been taught at college the correct party to vote for.

Tucker Carlson recently said something about MN voters being a Norwegian lineage which makes them vote how they do. I will try to find it.

Your state is a mess and here you are rallying against the policies needed to fix it..

  • USA Donating Member

Wrong. What policies are trying to fix it locally I am rallying against?

Good thing they planned for the surge in real ID processing…

Trumps policies like DOGE would help. But you are against it

You extrapolate based on me condemning your stupidity, not reality.
