This is crazy and that’s per person.

Crap doesn’t look like the picture showed up. It’s a grand per person for free beer, parking, a catered lunch, 100 dollar gift card, private viewing areas and some swag.

When they started doing this last year, I just picture in my mind what people who purchase the VIP package(s) look like.

I walked into a couple of the vip tents and no one said anything. It was basically a private beer tent next to the poors beer tent

We've quit going to Haydays.

I hadn’t gone for a long time (probably 7-8 years) until I bought a catalyst and went to see what the hell I bought in person. I was actually shocked how much it has shifted to a carnival/festival now with the snowmobile racing being the side show. Give it another decade and the swap meet will probably just be an rv park.

I've always gone for the swap and to see the winter family. There were some good parties and tough mornings out in the swap.

IMO, they could ditch 1/4 of the swappers, that stupid mud bog thing, the stupid freestyle show, and add more swap, still fill it up and make it way better.

And start blacklisting swappers who has no or minimal snowmobile or powersports related stuff.

What you just stated is what you will get close up view for a 1000 bucks. Those side shows is what haydays is all about now. They hired an independent marketing company to “run the event” imo and they are pulling people out of Minneapolis/st Paul to come to it.

I'm too lazy to check, how much would 3 days admission and parking be?

Advance Pricing

BOGO Pass – $30*
— Buy Saturday, get Sunday free!
SUNDAY ONLY Pass – $15*
*plus taxes and fees

Box Office Pricing

BOGO Pass – $40
— Buy Saturday, get Sunday free!
SUNDAY ONLY Pass – $20

Parking is $10-$15 per day depending on where you park.

I only go for the swap. I think the majority are there for the swap, I don't think it's going anywhere. I have never been into watching the grass drags or the other sideshow stuff.

I'm sure people will buy those VIP tickets

I haven't been up there in probably 4 or 5 years, I bet. It's been a while and the last time we were there it was pretty underwhelming as far as deals to be found. Between admission and parking, which I think was $30 to get in and $20 to park, and the gas to get up there and back ... the deals weren't worth the time. Granted, there was some nice scenery, but just not the excitement like it used to be.

I volunteer my Saturday morning there selling beer tickets, so free admission through my local snowmonlble club. The afternoon is walking around looking at stuff vendors are selling.

Some of the club members make a weekend out of it, bringing campers, staying for the whole show.

One thing I'll give the Sno Barons full credit for, is their charity. They do a great job of sharing money from Hay Days, and providing various levels of grants to other clubs. They provided us with a nice donation for a bridge project a few years ago.

About 50 bucks for both days including parking. Sunday isn’t really worth going unless you want try to haggle a deal on something last minute in the swap someone doesn’t want to take home or you want to watch the racing. As far as new stuff it’s most of the vendors are the popular ones online now. Most just give a coupon code at the event and drop ship it from their store now. You don’t see the deals on close out items vendors would give like they did 10+ years ago.

If you get rid of the $100 DK gift card, you can get 95% of the $1000 experience for the price of admission/parking plus whatever your booze budget is.

Are there that .many customers that want a VIP experience?

Seems pricey for what little Extra is offered....

Never been to Hay Days .....

Volunteer at NH Grass drags in the past...it's a circus en environment...

Worst part is the traffic congestion for miles on small town roads....

VIP Bus Shuttle, catered food tent......

The swap meet thing has never done much for me.. A short walk to check out cool vintage shit is all I need

Beer and Bloody Mary's help with the buying enthusiasm.

Will the 858 be allowed to race in the 850 class? Will there be a new catalyst based sno cross sled unleashed? Will there be dog sled drag races this year?

I went for the first time ever last year to see a friend from out east who hadn't been there in years and bs with Greg. It was interesting but I won't be going back anytime soon.

It's the most similar time to riding in Alaska, that's for sure.
