New hoopty is home

I was drunk internet shopping and found this guy for a deal. Has the tv screen in it and a built in plug for a tender to run it off the house.

I bought my wife a blast because I’m stupid and a family member needed some coin. Jim said it’s just as fast and handles better than that 850

I played a new game the other night. I was skipping beer cans off my catalyst hood to check the areo dynamics. Might as well use the broke down pile for something.

After a Crossfire 6 and 2 XF6's, my wife has taken it upon herself to buy her own sleds. dunno

That Crossfire may not have been the best choice for her.

The sled is going to the junk yard so it’s not like I am hurting anything worth of value. Dad just gave me a new credit card and said spend wildly

You nearly totaled your sled at 15mph. You can't ride.

What is the junkyard giving you for it?

I just measured the rail thickness and the inferior Polaris rails are almost double the thickness of the catalyst and have braces on them. Both are 128/129 skids.

Scrap price lol. I was offered 3k for it and I feel that is reasonable offer how it sits. However I am not actually going to junk it. I have been picking up parts here and there to make it usable when I find deals. When the water pump went out just sitting for 6 months is what really pissed me off and why I bought a new sled. What I need now is a set of rails and a water pump rebuild to make it usable. Sled is going to get stripped as soon as I get my air compressor and rebuilt. I am hoping to have it all back up and running before Christmas when my brother comes so up he has a sled to ride. (Note he has never been into snowmobiles but likes to go ride every now and then). There are only 2 options with this pile. Part it out or fix and have a usable snowmobile. selling it to a junk yard I loose my ass as bad as fixing it and selling it, so I am going to keep it.

Well you are comparing a base model with a Race sled. Should have bought the RXC, but you are to stupid. Operator error in breaking the skid, by riding a wheely down a hill. How fucking dumb are you?

Congrats on the new buggy. If that one is as good (or better) than the Captain America XCR that I had, you;re gonna like it. A lot.

The xcr is not a race sled. it’s a sled anyone can buy. You are just pissed I told you I would get a sold out catalyst and put it in the junk yard before you even put a mile on yours. And I did

It should be a lot of fun. This was the sled I speced out when it was new and never did. Full circle.

The XCR is a beefed up Matrix. Junk! Good thing daddy paid for it. My Catalyst was fantastic last winter. Best sled i have ever ran.

Last time I looked you could still get the exact same sled "super rare, sold out" sled he has, brand new for half to 3./4 what he paid

Yep. That’s why my turd is a loose/loose situation. Selling it for 3k and buying another 2024 would be the same amount of money as fixing.

Around 2500. Not sure on the exact number. way too low to be having issues like that.
