Someone on HCS claims it's official and that it's Argo. Guess we'll see soon enough.

Argo would make sense with the product mix and a number of the Engineering staff went there when Textron cut them. Probably some that were involved in the development on the new chassis.

If they stay in the snowmobile market it will be interesting to see if they take a year off to regroup or come out with a limited build.

Sold and Closed a publically traded corporation.... This is too big to hide...

Sketchy details like this would be more believable on April first....

Illogical that new owners haven't done a press release to garner momentum and encourage green loyalists

@Doug - guessing you saw some of the same info I did. That it was an investor group, with ties to people from Argo? Not Argo itself? I wonder if this is the rumor where it was going to be Roger Skime and a group of people he was putting together.

That's good news 👍

When Textron sold Polaris back to some former executives that was the best move for Polaris. Hopefully this repeats with Arctic Cat

It would be amazing to have guys like Brian Dick back in engineering , they need people with a broad knowledge of it all and some leadership to move things forward quickly. So many positive projects were scrapped by mother textron its sad.

Nice to have a group come in that gives an instantaneous reality that the catalyst will finally become what it should have been. Woot.

Details on the Arctic Cat purchase. It is not Argo per say but an investment group with holding in Argo's parent company along with Brad Darling

Terms of Arctic Cat's purchase by this group from Textron have yet to be disclosed, but this is big news for both the snow market and the off-road powersports market.

New Arctic Cat Releases Complete 2026 Snowmobile Lineup

Though just two days old, the renewed Arctic Cat company released a surprisingly complete 2026 snowmobile lineup under its new ownership.

EPS in two stroke and the catalyst will be new and that's pretty cool. Also the twin rail M's will sell really well as there's some people that have been asking for that. The models look great and I heard 3 year warranty on snow checks. Hopefully they get the bugs worked out of the 858.

So happy for Cat

I'm a Polaris guy but glad to see what Arctic Cat is offering. Wish the timing would have been better for them and could have gotten in the snowcheck window. Some of the Arctic Cat guys that switch would have stayed with Arctic Cat.

Seeing the lineup seems they have the right people in place. Good to see

Snowest podcast about the recent cat news and 2026 models and updates. Apparently Brad Darling did a conference call with alot of media today
