Australian GP is this weekend... lot of changes and new faces.

Placed our annual points based dinner wager with a few fun twists last night with my friend.

The bet:

(dinner) Driver - he took Lewis and I took Lando

(bar tab) Team - he (of course) took Ferrari so I took McClaren

(dessert) Low Tier Team Driver - we both wanted Sainz so he had to come off the table. I took Ocon with Haas and he took Ollie Bearman, also with Haas. (laughter ensued)

We both agreed (he begrudgingly) that Max is the best driver and kept anything to do with Red Bull completely off the table. I will of course be rooting for Carlos to beat Lewis... 😜

  • This thread has been quiet. I attended the Canadian Grand Prix this past weekend. It is a really cool track. Had a good time at the race. It was a little boring but overall good. I will post some

  • The driver's championship is getting close...3 man race... Maybe Max can pull it off? I will be at COTA for the next race. Should be a good one!

  • I have to find a new driver to root for...Checo is gone. Wow, did he have a pathetic year. Only himself to blame...

Max with pole for the sprint, if he keeps the pace up, and a little help from George getting himself on the podium the the title fight will get interesting

I prefer the ESPN coverage... just not willing to deal with how you view the race on it. yesterday morning I could have watched it on demand, in Spanish???? through the ESPN app on Roku. we have ESPN and ESPN3 through spectrum and the race wasn't shown at all on the schedules or in the App. fuck em...

Most importantly do you have your gd soo app dialed in? It’s only 3 and 1/2 months away

watched quali and sprint highlights when we got home last night... rest of the season should be a nail biter for the drivers championship. oscar and lando crash in the sprint, no one saw that coming.

Turn 1 looked like it was from a NASCAR race at that track. lol

Max cleaned that one with ease. Tire strategy was Soft/Med or Med/Soft... looks like Med/Soft was the way to go with a lighter fuel load.... as seen with Lando and LeClerc in the end.

off to Mexico...

if LeClerc didn't get in the way for the whole race (he did a good job...lol), Lando might have challenged Max

idk, just based on how poorly Oscar did... as the current points leader

should be a good battle for the drivers championship, which is how it should be

he probably would have caught Max (hard to know for sure, as max def wasn't pushing) but with the trouble he had getting around the Ferrari, I don't see him ever getting the lead without yeeting the redbull.

Max is showing why he's the best.

Since the break the RedBull team have really improved the car for both drivers.

Yuki has more points in the last 3 races then he had all season prior.

I like Yuki, he drove the ass off that Toro Roso.

You never say never, if anyone can do it, max would be the guy.

Not impossible but it is looking like Norris or Piastri.
