Australian GP is this weekend... lot of changes and new faces.

Placed our annual points based dinner wager with a few fun twists last night with my friend.

The bet:

(dinner) Driver - he took Lewis and I took Lando

(bar tab) Team - he (of course) took Ferrari so I took McClaren

(dessert) Low Tier Team Driver - we both wanted Sainz so he had to come off the table. I took Ocon with Haas and he took Ollie Bearman, also with Haas. (laughter ensued)

We both agreed (he begrudgingly) that Max is the best driver and kept anything to do with Red Bull completely off the table. I will of course be rooting for Carlos to beat Lewis... 😜

  • This thread has been quiet. I attended the Canadian Grand Prix this past weekend. It is a really cool track. Had a good time at the race. It was a little boring but overall good. I will post some

  • The driver's championship is getting close...3 man race... Maybe Max can pull it off? I will be at COTA for the next race. Should be a good one!

  • I have to find a new driver to root for...Checo is gone. Wow, did he have a pathetic year. Only himself to blame...

It is going to be strange to see Hamilton in a red Ferrari.

Verstappen is a robot....if Red Bull is even close on the car being competitive with the other top 3....he will carry on as always...

love him or hate him, he's an absolutely incredible driver...

McLaren on the front row with Max starting 3rd. Should be an interesting first lap!

I ended up falling asleep before they even got to halfway, lol. I watched the highlights this morning. Congratulations to McLaren and Lando.

I didn't even try to stay up. Recorded it and watched it first thing in the morning. Tough conditions for the rookies. Even caught out some veterans like Sainz.

Stream Formula 1 live | F1 TV

Watch all F1 sessions live with F1 TV. See more of the drivers with the 20 onboard cameras, live team radios and exclusive live timing.

I went with Pro as we're up at the cottage most weekends from June-Oct and now I'll be able to watch the race at my own convenience.

I have F1 TV Pro as well. Sometimes i switch between ESPN and F1 tv pro. They have different commentators, but i believe you have access to both on F1tv pro...sometimes the pre-race and post race events are interesting to watch

I prefer the ESPN coverage... just not willing to deal with how you view the race on it. yesterday morning I could have watched it on demand, in Spanish???? through the ESPN app on Roku. we have ESPN and ESPN3 through spectrum and the race wasn't shown at all on the schedules or in the App. fuck em...

I hear that about ESPN....although some of those Brit's voices and accents get fucking annoying after a while...lol!

It is pretty cool at times to click on a driver and watch through their camera and listen to their team radio....

Peace out, Eddie Jordan.

Definitely one of the most colorful characters F1 has seen.

I'm begining to believe that the Rebull cars are junk. Max is carrying the car because he is so fucking good.

Yuki was doing well, until he wasn't and is the one imo that should have gotten Checo's spot.

but yeah... Max is as mentioned previously a Robot

Agreed on Yuki being more deserving of Checo's seat. Maybe the Racing Bulls car is a little better than the Red Bull cars right now dunno

idk... the RB's are testing beds for the Red Bull cars, so maybe they found a few things.

Leclerc, Hamilton, Gasly DQ'd from Chinese GP

Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly have all been disqualified from the results of the Chinese Grand Prix after technical infringements were found on their cars in post-race checks.

Edited by Crnr2Crnr

Gasly and Leclerc for under minimum weight, Hamilton for too much plank wear. All 3 slam dunk DQ's.
