The sooner the parties get together on this, the sooner the ACTUAL waste and abuse are tackled and agreed upon. As we’ve seen time and time again, everyone talks a big talk at election time. Now that someone is for real doing something, the other side is throwing a big “Fuck that!” at it simply because it’s the other side.

Middle ground guys/gals, let’s actually do it… the sooner they do, the sooner some of these programs get slashed where they NEED to be slashed, and the cryers left behind will be the actual waste.

I understand that for the past 100+ years democrats tend focus more on things such as social programs, infrastructure, public health, etc whereas republicans tend to focus on things such as defense, tax cuts, and border security. So yeah, when one party goes after particular programs that their counterpart values more highly - like USAID, they would complain louder. If the democrats gutted border security, republicans would complain louder.
