what in THEEEEEE HELL is that thing?

Never seen anything like it.

Not sure if I would trust that to weld two beer cans together.

Looks worth trying. Do you need to be Fork Lift, err Welder certified?

Anyone seen these things yet? They are cheap , but are they worth it for someone who would weld a repair maybe 4 -5 times a yr.

Check YouTube for set up and test videos for the different ones out there. I was thinking about getting one but holding off for now, a couple people said stay away from the ones for sale on Temu for some reason.

I’ve owned that same welder for probably 10 years now if not longer. I have mine set up for c25 gas screw flux core. Small tank so it’s still easy to move around mine came with everything besides the tank to use gas not sure if they still come like that or not. It’s been a great welder no issues at all. I’ve welded a lot of shit with it over the years bed sides, rockers, wheel arch patches I’ve made a lot of money doing side jobs with that little welder.

The only thing you are certified for happens behind Sandy's Sub Shop.

Flux core can get it done. Gas is much nicer.

I have a big Argon and small C25 tank for mine.

I ordered one of those handheld welders, should be here next week, I'll post on how well it works. I will now have 5 different types of welders.

Couldn't resist could you.

I think they work as advertised and who not hesitate to try one if the need came up for light duty welding.

I’ve got a titanium core flux welder from Harbor Freight. It’s 120v and can be had for $129 on sale. I’ve used it too many times to count and it’s still going strong. It’s lightweight and compact. I carry it in the backpack box on the van for trail side repairs. I can easily run it off the van’s inverter.

Nice 👍.... I may order one as well ...nothing to lose at that price. Although I've never welded anything in my life....... Does soldering a couple solenoids on a pinball machine count?...🤣
