Sounds like a DOGE target… but I don’t know what you know in the water.

Absolutely should be a DOGE target.

If you're in the area, we have a couple of problematic leaking beaver ponds/dams beside our trails that could use your attention.😉

I vote we leave them in the dark... like Ukrainians

right Mittens?

I vote we let the countries in the continent/region handle Ukraine/Russia even though we were complicit in letting NATO basically give Russia no choice but to invade.

Its amazing how simple foreign policy could be. Don't meddle in others elections and don't pin someone's back against the wall and NONE of this would have occurred. Saved the world God only knows how many lives and Trillions in war and rebuilding spending.

Far, far too many and I've stated on here a number of times we shouldn't be there or at minimum being paid for it.

We are doing the same thing to China however China has a history of directly attacking American Troops when they felt backed into a corner. Think Korean War.

Typical of his negotiation style. He should not back down on reciprocal actions on tariffs and trade access.

How much will not selling the excess to the US cost Canadians?

How much will Canadian prices rise to offset the lost revenue?

How long will it take the US to redirect power to the affected areas? Ramp up the low running gas plants? Start poring on the coal?

Shut the switch.

That would be smart considering most their refined oil/gas comes from the US.

Shut the oil off too.

Shut them both off and let’s see what happens. Who cones out ahead in the end?

Again like I've said, has zero to do with trade.

Gotta be aware of what happens downstream when that amount of water is released.

Local sled club pulled a dam and damn near flooded the highway a half block over.

We were complicit with disarming Ukraine while giving security guarantees well before Putin.

If they still had nukes, this would never have happened.

Peace in our time. History teaches us nothing.

You really are retarded.

Trump is using a provision in the new Nafta using fentanyl as leverage to pressure Canada using tariffs. This has zero to do with trade.

"Canada’s trade deficit with the US about $63 billion. A rounding error. The focus on Canada is about the boarder, fentanyl and a hostile communist government to the north under Trudeau. China has heavy influence. The tariffs are less about economics but more about geopolitical considerations and border security IMHO."

A country of 400 million and a country of 40 million.

You think it's possible to cut the trade deficit?

Never

Yep. Dumbest thing they ever did was give up their nukes.

You actually believe this is abut fentanyl, zero to do with trade?

Seriously. No joking around, you think it's about drugs, not using it as an excuse to try and hurt the Canadian economy and force business to move to the US..

Shutting off the oil will hurt both but Canada more. See Canada refused to build enough refineries and infrastructure to move the oil east. So its our pipelines that move it from Western to Eastern Canada. We can increase output or buy from someone else before they can create infrastructure to move it or refine it.

Only enough to know how they think, over at the state run media. I quickly lose patience with the socialist spin. I consider it brainwashing I'm forced to pay for.

I listen to a fair bit of news/talk radio, albeit much of that is quickly losing it's appeal.

Many of my US talk radio favorites, have consumed some kool aid type drink.

I watch just about zero TV, news included.
