He sure ain't playing Trump.... But Trump is also smart enough to know that an end to this war will require some concessions by Ukraine and giving territory up. And that's exactly most likely how this will end. Call that a win for Russia if you want after 3 years of losing nearly a million on each side.

Maybe Russia will be forced to concede a small amount of the territory that they captured as a compromise.

But there really is no other way to end this war in the near term.

That's a much better alternative than to let this thing drag on for another 3 years with massive loss of lives and Ukraine likely losing even more territory unless America went all in.

Most we paid was $5.99 for X large.

I had to get Jumbos a couple weeks ago.....just too big with too much yolk, didn't like it all.. probably going to throw them out....Prefer the large the best.

Many were double yolkers which we like.

And checked out regular gas today, even though I only use premium.

$2.75......was $2.89 last week..... temporary dip or more to come? End of conflict may be telling

The cost of eggs is breaking records but may level out soonThe United States has experienced a significant rise in egg prices due to the bird flu outbreak, resulting in the deaths of millions of laying hens.

The national average wholesale price of eggs dropped for the third week in a row, as high prices caused falling demand and bird flu outbreaks hit a lull, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The average wholesale price fell to $4.15 per dozen last week, down by $2.70, according to a weekly USDA report released on Friday.

Just two weeks ago, on Feb. 28, the average wholesale price was $8.05 per dozen.

The combination of prices scaring off customers, slowed bird flu outbreaks and a later Easter this year is resulting in less demand.

"Demand for shell eggs declined sharply over the past week as resistance to current shell egg prices grows across all sectors," the USDA report stated. "Slowing [highly pathogenic avian influenza] outbreaks are leading to improved supply availability and wholesale market prices have responded with sharp declines over the past week."

"However, these declines have yet to be reflected at store shelves and, until they are, demand is expected to remain dampened," the USDA added.

The Justice Department is in the early stages of investigating the major egg producers over soaring egg prices, sources familiar with the matter told ABC News last week.

So, still not 9 dollars a dozen and gas is still under 3 dollars a gallon. LOL. Such a great post.

That stuff seems to be dependent on location. Eggs here were running 8.79/doz but haven't looked lately. Gas is 3.05

Still $8.49 at our budget grocery store. Were over $10 this am at Kowslskis.

No doubt they're still up there here too, small town store is always higher priced.

Not sure I'd say where I live is a small town. Our high school has 4k kids....
