The guys bitching the loudest are the ones who but beat ass Rev 600's for $1200 barely running and the first thing they do is throw a $400 can on it.

Or, they are the people who remember the "good old days" of their pappy buying a pair of 2 year old carryover 93 Indy Sport 440's with a cheap as shit steel 2 place tilt trailer and the dealer "threw in" 2 coats, 2 belts, and 2 covers with the deal, all for $5995.  And if they still ride, they still have all of it, including the belts.

Neither party are buying new sleds, probably ever.

Yep...There giving sleds away here in the midwest if their smart...I bought this same sled for $12k + $200doc+ Tx...3 weeks ago...I also saved $300.00+ in sales tx...This particular dealer has a screw loose trying to get full msrp for a leftover...I bought mine from a dealer less than an hour from these clowns...

yeah... that's a pretty steep cut and probably tempting if you don't mind the previous chassis.  also feel as though you'll also be able to get common replacement parts for those for a while (new or used) as most of them from 2018 and up haven't really changed.  not a fan of the squishy seats but my favorite thing about the PC chassis... LOT of different windshield options out there.

not a fan of the stock RXC speedometer cover, 1st gift I bought my brother when he picked his up was an actual windshield.

the windshield that came with your sled is the one I bought for my brother's which still wasn't great on cold days at speed... so I put a better one on that you can still see right over the top of. 

 

@taperk600 tested a handful of Procross windshields several years ago for top speed and the mid heights were the fastest.  

Forget who it was on HCS that raced XC but they were using the Cobra mid and preferred it to the Cat mid.

Someone has been paying near credit card interest rates on those units since the day they got loaded on a truck at the factory.

Looks like a pretty nice bigger dealer too I’m sure they can’t have or want inventory stacking up probably cost a fortune

friend of mine just paid 15 ish for that same sled last week here

Was told that in order to use handguards the factory windshield had to be replaced with a extreme low one ($59.00)...Full turn either direction hits all the other windshields...

Full turn ... barely touches the mid/stock windshield.  But I guess they're not lying.  Easier/better fix is to use the taller riser from the Assault (I think it's considered the 85mm riser).

EDIT:  Oops. I didn't back read and thought you guys were talking about the Polaris from the OP

with an actual windshield you don't need handguards... imo. I have raynaud's in two fingers and am on blood thinners so trust me, I know what keeps my digits warm. 😉

two weekends ago after finally getting the fresh engine broken in on this I was running 96/97mph on the lake behind a perfect little pocket of air.

again, looking back at all the years that Herf, Selby or anyone else raced the Procross all day long at high speeds does anyone recall seeing a speedometer cover on their sleds?

I believe they're referring to the steering post and position on M models or the high country there, not a ZR, fwiw.
