don’t trust that lemonade. It was probably made with Barcardi 151 instead of water. It may power your sled in a pinch

  • No the one you linked is a loaded clutch. But an unloaded and put your shit in it. They’re like $340 retail

I watched this today. They didn’t mention booger’s rap music blasting louder than the sleds and the drunks wearing animals as hats, falling over living room furniture on the hill.

Are you trying to convince me to go to the race?

Do I get to start with breakfast, and then layer cheese and sausage during the day, or only liquid diet allowed?

@Not greg b is the events manager for this one.  you should go to it at least once in a life... the spectators are just as entertaining as the actual race.

maybe next season when @fortune46x will actually be able to enjoy his winter and have some free time we could gather up a GDSOOCREW and trash Greg's house.

It’s a 4 course event. Start bbqing in the parking lot after the breakfast beers. they have a live feed to watch track prep I guess, If you are interested in watching a broke ass water truck drive around in circles. This might be the last year of the “good old days” at the race. They are beginning construction on the track to make it usable all year for events. That might cause them to crack down on the shenanigans on the hill.

the # of Cats being raced at ER for the WC and the Enduro was dismal.  Cadarette/Troy Dewald on a SkiDoo?   mind boggling

The pro shoot out isn’t what it use to be. A couple years ago dewald and bunke wrecked each other and were too tore up to race the 500. I think they flew gunner in that year to run dewald’s sled with Ryan Spencer.

Gunnar is going to be on a SkiDoo this year... assuming he's running with Caderette?

I'm not even sure if Trout races once a year anymore.  I don't think he has raced XC since 2020.

can he still pin the throttle and turn left most of the day?

:dunno:

from my pov the biggest factor at that GD race is staying on the lead lap and attrition, then throw on a guy like Herf or AC10 with under 99 laps to go and you might, stress MIGHT have a shot.

Bunke's have it down to a science imo

The big thing to that race is to not have major brake down. That is what knocks most people off the lead lap. Only about 5 sleds finish on the lead lap if that.

I'd think he will be pretty much told keep the sled clean and rubber side down.  That is all he is there to do, nothing more, nothing less, and let Zach do any challenging and racing.

BTW, Paul Brown, lifetime Cat racer - on a Polaris for the Soo.

Now, not knowing the behind the scenes stuff going on, but if I'm Zach, I'm taking Paul as a teammate long before I take Trout.  But that is me.
