If Zelenskyy would give up those transformers that Biden gave him from the “US strategic transformer reserve” maybe they could get electricity on, to be able fire up the gas and diesel network and get people the gas and diesel they need.

Maybe just give all the EV wanderlust owners extension cords and let them fire up all that magic power to get everyone electricity!

Meh.  Most public charging stations are on or along main and larger feeder circuits of the grid which recieve most attention to bring back on line and typically the most built to resist these disasters.  So those come on first which is why during these large disasters EV chargers are some of the first things to come back on line if they are even knocked out.

Not a single ICE owner said, "Wish we had an EV instead" during this.  Not one.

When I left yesterday Punta Gorda didn't have any open gas pumps that I saw. Maybe they had some but none I saw. Ft Myers on the other hand had just about everything open.

Plenty of gas just no electric power to pump it.

😂. Less than 10% of Florida is out of power.  All but 3 of teslas superchargers are up in running in the whole state.

Desantis has failed miserably on this hurricane recovery.

Desantis has failed miserably on this hurricane recovery.

So more than 90% have power and are pumping gas.

While DeSantis said there are still 1.4 million people in Florida without power, the governor said that’s a substantial improvement from the 2.6 million initially without power following Milton’s landfall on Wednesday night, slamming into Siesta Key.

Your house is three feet under water or completely gone but yeah I need electricity!

daughter lives just north of Clearwater and never even lost power.

it’s definitely a mess down there and it’s going to take a bit but they will get things back together!!

Yup because  DeSantis can control the weather.

Now you can’t fill gas cans at certain sites due to shortage, hours upon hours lines and 10 gallon limit.  What is this like 4 or 5 days of failure post hurricane by the Florida government?

Rubber dildo from Idaho has this all figured out. He’s the resident expert on hurricane response

Yup, no hurricane in Vegas but the line ups to get to chargers were over 3hrs long last time I was there.

whats the percentage of evs in Florida?

Tens of thousands of Southern Californiaresidents came to Las Vegas, many with electric cars. Good luck getting a charge.

Caesars Entertainment has the largest charging station on the Strip behind the High RollerObservation Wheel at the LINQ Promenade.

The line to get a charge was 35 to 50 cars long the day after Christmas, just to get a spot. I can only imagine how long the line was New Years day.

How long does it take to charge a SUV or car? Will the person arrive back to remove their car when fully charged or continue gambling?

I will stick with being the A-Hole driving my hot rod car without a muffler up and down the Strip burning rubber and using gas. (kidding)

I wonder how long these people had to wait to charge their car?

What???? Suddenly politicians can’t control the weather???  But MADA favourite Marjorie Taylor Green said they can. Lots of Jewish people in Florida, Rob should get the keys to the space laser.
