why is this a surprise? everyone on the west coast is filling up and driving out of town. This cant actuallly be a surprise to anyone with a functioning brain.

I was surprised they were not using inbound lanes for outbound.

Think it's bad with a temporary gas shortage?  Wait until the EV owners can't charge their cars due to the power issues that will plague them.  The spots that will get power, EV's will be waiting for days to get a chance for a charge.

Battery operated vehicles don't need gas or generators.  They run on batteries.....and vaccine dust.

Don’t even get me started.  When my daughter told me she was applying to go to Malasia as a foreign exchange student in 9th grade, I said hey I tell ya what.  In 2 hours, I can have you located in the heart of Amish country. Won’t cost a dime or wasted time on paper work and approval.  You’ll have 3 hots and a cot, and you’ll learn more survival skills, and cooth and etiquette, be more appreciative to what you have then any place else in the world will ever show you.

Is the power out yet?  If not they charge at home or they were smart and already charging at a hotel 100’s of  miles out of the hurricane zone.  It’s not like anyone who stayed behind will be driving far.

Shhhhh its part of Kamala's green new deal everyone making less than $250,000 will get $$3500 towards the purchase of a solar generator & $50,000 towards whole home solar power. It will be paid for by billionaires once she makes them pay their fair share of taxes........

Oh yeah, almost always see one on 29.  Hwy 10 is mostly buggies, not as many bikes.  They redid a couple big stretches of 10 last summer and this summer.  Shoulders are extra wide for the buggies to stay on the pavement right of the white.  It’s just one long shit and piss streak on both sides of the highway.
