Curious to know if there will  be a shoot out this year for the 3 manufacturers. Always good for shits and giggles on here. I suspect a washer guzzling fool will interject with the standard there will be no snow due to climate change. Has never prevented this event from going on in the past

example my sportsman xp1000 had upper radiator hose smashed into suspension spring.stopped at dealer to check out all other ones and most were the same!dealer sent info to Polaris.

i was at Roseau for 70th and they were still making them like that!!!you would think someone on assemble line would say that’s not right!!

I agree I may be the minority, but I absolutely do care where things are made and routinely pay more money for American made products. I would never buy a CF moto, personally.

Even if it were true that all the parts come from China (not true at all), it'd still be infinitely better to be assembled in America by an American company.  Shouldn't even have to explain that but it's where we're at today I guess.

The bad thing is, china could cripple the USA in a matter of days. All they have to do is stop all expors to USA immediately and we are done. We don’t have the tooling, factories, personnel ect to fire up small component manufacturing on a large scale. 

We got a good taste of that during Covid but we still haven’t changed!

The result of China stopping exports to the US and/or Europe would cripple China. Can't make product to just sit and rot. They need customers.  How many Chinese citizens would be out of work looking to the government for hand outs before they start to become hostile.

The uaw is a 1/5 the size of it was at its height in 1979. It has declined since 2022. That shows you the auto companies haven’t invested a dime into manufacturing components for themselves. 

Italy also isn’t the USA. They are a shitty European country

all of the people thinking that they are "buying american" are funny. When I was still with ford, I would say that about 5% of the parts we installed were made in the US, on your "american" cars and trucks.
was it all chinese no. but you name the country, and they probably supply some of the parts that go into your vehicles.

See my above quote.  I never said every part unless you want to take my comment out of context.  Bottom line is, regardless of a plant being in Thief River Falls, Roseau, St. Cloud, or wherever else .. the bulk of the assembly consists of parts that came from other countries (and China is a major contributor).
