2024 Shoot Out

Curious to know if there will  be a shoot out this year for the 3 manufacturers. Always good for shits and giggles on here. I suspect a washer guzzling fool will interject with the standard there will be no snow due to climate change. Has never prevented this event from going on in the past

The 858 that was on display at the hillclimbs was rode prior to being on display. Does your cousin know you're drunk at work, I cant imagine being 60 years old sober and acting like a 12 year old

drunk in the morning Jim?  its hard to test and tune something that's already been released to the public and is being delivered.

Went on a sxs trip this summer. I was surprised with how popular the cf moto ones are getting now. Saw a lot more of them than I was expecting. Saw one or 2 older cats on the trip.

They are the most reliable Chinese/Taiwanese manu.  per our Parts Unlimited rep.  He recommended taking the brand on years before covid..

They recently released Turbo sxs in 2 and 4 seats, something textron hasn't been able to do in the 6 or 7 years the XX has been out, even has a nice display.  There was a big media surge with the release, they received coverage in all sorts of publications, many of which aren't offroad orientated.  I didn't see a single one of those arcticles even mention AC/Textron existing.  They all mention canam, and poo as the market leaders, with honda, yami, and kawi having lesser roles.

@ZR6000RR  Where is Cats 2025 atv and SXS line-up?

What a great day for a nice ride. Took the 850 Sportsman for a good run. Not once did I hear this mysterious grinding sound the Site Moron yaks about. Saw plenty of Poo's, BRP's and Hondas. Saw one Cat and don't even know if it was the same POS the Site Moron rides. No doubt consumers have chosen what is a POS and what isn't with their wallets. One fucking Cat all day. LMFOA

Me personally have no interest in ever trail riding a sxs or ATV, I really don't care about cat's popularity with that crowd.  Although even if I was an alcoholic and did that stuff, I still wouldn't care what the masses rode.  It's kind of weird to me anyone would keep track of manufacturers seen throughout a day.

I'd like to get a sxs in the next few years but it's for utility.  Cat still has decent options for the utility with the prowler pro and prowler 500.  I think the pro is as good as any, I like how quiet it is, is there another sxs that's quieter besides going electric?  I think I'd prefer the smaller size of the 500 and it's alot cheaper so I'm thinking about that now too.  I am sure there are plenty of competitive units for these in the other makers, they probably all have pros and cons.  I just need a few certain features and it to work and I'd prefer to stay with cat.  And I don't care who else buys what or how many other people buy cats.  When I'm doing my various chores that doesn't matter to me or cross my mind.  I have a 2006 cat ATV that's been good.  Also have a 1995 Polaris ATV that's been good.

With all the old ass shit you ride and dreaming about buying a poverty level SXS it’s no wonder you couldn’t even come up with $1000 to make good on your bet. :lol2::lol::owned:

Super hilarious when someone who can't afford a sled makes fun of other people's sleds who actually ride.

I have. The Sportsman is pure junk. Cannot shift gears without grinding the gears. Constant recalls as well. Never buy from a brand that builds in Mexico.

The Cat 700XT it replaced is a perfectly fine machine, but the Sportsman is at least 5 years ahead of that Cat.

The 700 is under powered and the exhaust gets real hot on the leg. Not an issue on the 600. Straight out the back. The cat is 5 years ahead of the POS 570 POOP. No contest!

Not keeping track buddy, just an observation. I could fucking care less what folks ride but when the Site Moron spews lies on something he has zero knowledge of, well I'm sure even you get the picture.

He is too much of a moron to get the picture.

Actually 570 has been a good machine for Polaris.

it was made to replace the 800 and I believe it does.

have ridden one a few times and has good power.

polaris definitely has a few bugs but my sportsman xp 1000 goes like hell and handles great also.

wish they would have installed walkers on it is my only real big complaint.

really tough to compare anything cat has made to Polaris.cat just never made a competitive atv or sxs.wildcats are the exception guys seem to like them.

The early-mid 20teens were a time when cat actually showed a glimmer of hope in competing within the dirt market.

They aren't selling the 500 sxs. But even if they were, you'd be better off buying it from a kymco dealer. They are lower priced for the same machine.

The AC 700 and your 600 make the same hp, depending on the model of 700. The biggest difference is 3 hp or so, but I'm sure it's obvious at 25mph.

in regards to CF moto, I've been very impressed with the ones we've had come through the shop, ATV and SXS. they respond well to tuning and clutch work too

My best friend bought one

Had to replace the motor after 2 years. Something broke in the tranny that got into the engine, since they are all on the same case. Paid $15k. Sold for $7,000. Yeah, great product for trimming your savings. Now the Fed is talking HUGE tariffs on them. Chinese JUNK!

Seeing more and more of them on the road and trails. At first they were kind crappy but these newer ones looking good.

Maintenance is key to longevity!!!

For those on a budget and want a ride they are an option.

CF Moto is Chinese junk. “Maintenance is the key” more like polishing a turd.

Cf moto is now backed by Yamaha. I was told Yamaha doesn’t do anything that involves junk?

Normally they don't, did they just start :)

Neighbor bought a CF Moto 600. Had nothing but engine issues that took forever to solve. He dumped it. But, that can happen with any make

Yamaha also had Subaru make 700cc quad engines for a brief time… how’d that turn out?

KTM uses Kymco engines parts. KTM has lots of engine issues.

But by all means run out and buy your food stamp level CF Moto SxS and tell us all how wonderful it is. Make sure to post several times per day to stifle your insecurities and try and convince yourself you made a good decision.

build quality is at least as good as, if not better in some areas than the polaris stuff we see. it's no Can Am, but overall decent quality.

obviously it's a budget machine, but for the money, you get a lot more than some other options and unlike other chinese stuff, at least there is a real company behind it that we can look up and get parts from.

Considering you are retarded we can expect he is too.  Explains his problems

It was a really good machine.  First year of that XT platform.  Paid like $5100 with less then 70 miles on it out the door from a dealer.

Some trouser stain weekender lake person who buys stuff and trades it in when warranty was up just traded it in for the next thing to not use.

Sold it during the Vid because it needed tires and found a good deal on the Sportsman.  Not a lot more then what tires would have cost snagged the Sportsman.

Probably should have kept it, but oh well.

Cfmoto has bigger dealer network around me than cat does. I would be better off with one of those than a cat. Because they all brake

They are Chinese junk. Are you in to communism? Fuck anything they build!

Sadly most people today can't seem to be bothered with supporting communism or anything else that's bad.  Some people are even for communism, look at our v.p. with her price controls and such.  Most people only actually care when the shit is at their front door step but by then it's too late.  Lots of people with their head in the sand, that's the problem with a good country, it creates weak people.
