idk wtf they can do so if they convince Joe to call it quits so I thought it might be amusing to run through some scenarios.

get Joe to pull an LBJ, bow out, finish his term, pardon his kid, and endorse the new candidates.

because of funding already received they have to resort to Kamala (ikr?) and take Newsom or a moderate centrist male Dem (idk who?) to make the mystery ticket more appealing to the middle grounders and never Trumpers.

Dean Phillips was the only Dem to actually run against Joe in the primary and get some votes... do they pair him with Kamala?

'Uncommitted' beat Dean handily in several primaries so maybe they could just run 'he/her'?

idk tbh... but what would you do if you were in their current predicament?  they're straight up fucked right now imo this late into the game.  house and senate are also now very much in jeapordy.

let's see how well your brains work... :news:

Dems are a dumpster fire now.  The outlook doesn’t look good for them.

Cory Booker would have been ok for them but he went too far left on a couple policies, IMO.

If they want an elderly white guy Mark Kelly would be a good choice.

If they want a younger white guy someone like Ossoff.

Flip the ticket. Biden is VP

why... what?

that can't or won't help matters as Kamala is too polarizing and wtf is Joe's role?   moving the 81yo POTUS to VPOTUS isn't going to sell to the electorate

try again...

There isn’t a Dem that isn’t too polarizing though.  Same for the right.  They had a chance with a moderate like Romney and he was sliced up.

The choices from both sides are too polarizing for the other side to handle.

Romney a moderate?

He's Bush Lite.

There's a reason he never went to the RNC convention, he would have been booed off the stage.

Whitmer is also a no-go...

just for amusement and I'm no expert on or endorsing any of these folks but just going with names I recognize... and men.

from the Senate

Blumenthal, Warnock & Warner

from the House

Swallwell, Khanna, Castro & Jefferies

Idk who's out there for D governors these days

Government hate is all the rage here.

first day on the Internet?

I was attempting an adult conversation and look where it went to no surprise.

So what's your preferred option as even you can see (I'd hope) they've got their backs against the wall and getting pummeled due to their own lack of foresight and planning.

It's okay to dethrone Joe, unless losing this election and planning for 2028 is their actual plan.

One would think they would've disposed of Joe by now. If it were anyone but Trump running against them I'd say call it day and plan for 28.

That’s your takeaway and comment…you’re worse than Biden…go lay down Korn Pop.

Biden is being heavily pressured and will be forced out in the next 5 days which then begs the question will he finish his term? After that I think Gavin Newsome gets the nod.

their plan was poor, writing was appearing on the wall quite a while ago in relation to his popularity and they ignored it or were hoping to keep his condition under wraps leading out of the primaries and into all his opponents indictments and trials... which being realistic failed miserably.  their plan imo was to make the opposition look so appalling that people would just say fuck it and vote blue.

but getting back on track... wtf do they do now?
